car seat is installed, I had a pedicure with my mom as a "last mother daughter date before baby" deal. bags are packed. baby clothes are washed. plans for the older kids have been made. just a waiting game now.

On Tuesday I had my first timeable contractions. I had an appointment that night, so my midwife did a cervical check to see if I needed to be admitted. Nope, apparently just a day of wicked Braxton Hicks. I had a repeat situation yesterday.

My DH wanted me to show him how I organized the nursery so he could find everything.

This post is making me hyperventilate. I think there is a reason I don''t think about how close everything is getting very often... It's the waiting game for us too, and I HATE waiting. I am not a patient person.

After my last appointment I had to do another 24 urine catch (what joy) and I've had some higher BP and more swelling.....dr also mentioned that I may be a good candidate for induction (in case of Pre-E). I'm convinced I'll be induced this week once we get my labs back. Anxiety girl is in full effect!

Also, tomorrow is my first official day of maternity leave!

I keep meaning to throw my old tests away but for some reason, I can't do it. I know they'll be expired and I clearly don't need them now but every time I go to drop them in the trash can, I put them back in the cabinet. weirdo!

I was having a lot of Braxton hicks on Thursday and was starting to think I needed to go in, luckily they stopped. They also threw me a surprise "sprinkle" at work on Friday which was awesome. Those 2 events made it real. The good part of that is it finally lit a fire under DH's butt and he got some stuff done I've been asking him to do for the last month! I've finally been able to start nesting.

I'm with Book! I had DH trim me up yesterday, so I should be good there. Had my first 'false alarm' contractions last night. Had DH freaking out a bit. Finally got some sleep after he went to work.

Well, shit just got a little realer...my blood pressure was a little high at my appointment today, so I have to do a 24 hour urine tomorrow. OB says if my levels are too high, he's inducing me on Thursday rather than next week. Well...shit.

I'm 36w5d and after my OB appt today I realize I only have 2 left before due date. Also, that we have to push back buying our new vehicle another week, so haven't been able to install the carseat and get it checked.

Every night now my older kids have to have complete clothes laid out. And I had to make sure they don't forget socks and underwear incase my friend cannot be contacted and the kids actually have to leave with me in the middle of the night.

If she can make it I just want the kids to be able to get themselves ready in the morning. We also have cereal stocked, instant oatmeal and granola bars so she doesn't have to cook them breakfast. Fortunately it's then just drop off at the bus.

So weird thinking about getting ready every night. But Fate hates me so I know the one night we don't prepare my water will break and I'll deliver in the garage because we can't get out of the house in time.
