14 with my bf who was 17. In my friends house while her parents were gone. It was his first time too & awful. We had sex one more time and then he dumped me a few weeks later. I have moments I regret it but mostly I don't. I knew what I was doing. My only wish is that I had waited 6 months till I started dating my next bf. We eventually broke up too, but he was my great young love & we're still friends today.

I have to admit, I'm a little jealous of you women and your stories. I wish that I had an experience like any of you. My virginity was unfortunately was stolen from me from a supposed "friend" when I was 15, so needless to say wasn't a very nice experience that began a downward spiral for a couple of years.

Ugh, sorry to be a downer on this...I actually waited almost 15 minutes to post it. But I refuse to be a victim about it and hopefully if any other girls here had a situation similar to this that are reading to know that you are not alone.

Feels weird to "lovetit" those @dr_pr and @wolfox, but thank you. It means a lot. It still really hurts to think about it, but I have to remember no matter what it wasn't my fault.

I was 21. It was with my first boyfriend (I was shy and didn't date in high school or before that in college). We had only been dating for a week but I was ready to lose my virginity so I didn't regret it at the time. When I met my now husband, he was still a virgin at 31 and sometimes I wish I had also saved myself for him.

15 with my HS bf who was 16. We actually have known eachother since we were in nursery school. (Small Catholic school, go figure).

It was a half day from school so we went to his house and watched "Top Gun". He was a two pump chump and we never had sex again. A few days later I freaked that I wasn't ready for sex, broke up with him, and didn't do it again until I was almost 18. I don't regret it, since we had been friends for so long.

I still think of him every time I hear "Take my Breath Away".

We attempted the whole "wait till wedding night"... But we dated for 4 1/2 years before we finally got married (we wanted to wait till after we graduated college for our wedding)... But we totally failed at waiting. At least we were still each other's first and only as well

Also, the way you described your first time was literally our exact first time as well. Ha!

I love your story! Your first time and mine with DH were very similar :-) it was totally worth the wait and so special. I too had to go to the doctor a week or do before the wedding and explain how I needed to feel great for that evening too. They weren't as nice to me as they were to you. They laughed at me and whispered about me to each other. I guess they thought that at 27 I was being ridiculous.

I was 22, with my now husband after we were engaged. We had planned to wait until our wedding night (we had already been together 5 years) but I decided we should do it a few times to "practice" so it didn't hurt the first time. I'm glad I did because it was super awkward the first few times. Then we really got to enjoy our wedding night/honeymoon.

29 on my wedding night. We were in a super fancy suite in downtown Charlotte but we could still hear the people in line for the club on the street behind the hotel while we were trying to be sweet and romantic. After we did it we couldn't go to sleep so we got dressed and went dancing! Closed down the club, had a street vendor hot dog, and went back up to the room to try shower sex. I felt like an adventurous virgin.

My bf pointed out that even though I waited until I was almost 30, I still lost my virginity on a night of clubbing with the sounds of partiers in the background. We laugh a lot about that.

I thought it was crazy that the poll only went up to 21+. I'm a bigger prude than I thought!

I was 17 with the boyfriend I had been dating since we were 15. We were in the backseat of my car. We had been doing "everything but" for a long time and finally just got to the point where we couldn't hold back anymore. Two years of foreplay made for an awesome first time. We dated for a couple years after that, and while I may regret many things about that relationship, the sex is not one of them.

Super late to commenting on this poll, but I was 21, and it was on our wedding night. No regrets whatsoever--it was actually a wonderful night. I think we lucked out with our first time going well. Chalk me up as surprised to see so many others waited till their wedding night too. I thought we were a bygone relic of last century!

I was 21, on my wedding night. My DH and have been together since my freshman year of high school...his sophomore. Looking back...we waited for a LONG time, but neither of us regret it! Pretty sure this was the most nervous I ever was around him...! I would also say that we were really lucky our first time went well. And here we are...almost 6 years later, one DD, and TTC for #2!

mine is much like a PP. I was 16 and it was with my now husband. I told him if he bought condoms we could do it. Lol. We had pretty much planned it and it happened in my room, probably while my mom was home. A few weeks later she found condoms and lube behind my bed while hanging Christmas lights. Fail.

I don't really regret it because it was with my now husband and I was his first too. A part of me does wish we had waited until our wedding night, though. But who am I kidding? We were both too drink to have sex on our wedding night anyway (especially him) and my first time hurt like hell.
