My Italian Greyhound is named Bernoulli (cue screen name), after the scientist and his principle. I literally use that equation everyday in life, so I thought it was fitting. When I say her name, I get looks; then I say I'm a water engineer, and science-y people get it, and non science-y people don't.
We had a lot of pets growing up, but the one with the best name was probably our Weimaraner, Nudnik. Nudnik is Yiddish for someone who is a pain in the ass. In reality, he was a really sweet dog- he was on the dumber side, though (and most Weims are pretty smart, or at least were back then). Before I was born my dad also had a Weim named Bagel, which I thought was a great name too.
My current pets are fantastic but they do have rather boring names- the dogs are Chase and Lexi, and the cat is Mini (which is kind of funny because she's a rather large cat). The dogs have the same name they had when we got them from the rescue, and the kitty is named after the park we found her in.
We had a kitten who grey and white and our son named him Carrot...although my cousin and her son named him Emo Optimus Prime.
Our current dog is Kona. Our current kitties are Kitty, we found her and weren't planning on keeping her but hubby really likes her, and our other kitty is Burnt Marshmallow cause she looks likes one. Lol.
Sorry for the crappy layout. I bump from my phone.
