Cloth Diapers

I am wanting to use cloth diapers. I just can't stand the thought of throwing away all those diapers over the next couple of years. Do any of you women use them, plan on using them? What are your favorite brands, cleaning techniques, do you love them??? Any other advice or knowledge of cloth diaper use?!?

I have found pinterest very helpful as well, with MANY links to helpful blogs that clarify the various types and compare different brands.

I plan on using them as well. There is SO much information out there which is great and overwhelming at the same time. The cloth diapering board on here is great. Kelly's closet also has a great FAQ section. My strategy was to read about as many different styles and brands as possible and then pick a few I wanted to try. I am doing a mix of hybrids, pockets and covers with prefolds and flats. I am getting a them from a few different companies that I have read great things about: Grovia, Flip, Thirsties, Bum Genius, Imagine Best Bottoms, Kawaii.. I still need to add some Green Mountain Diapers as well.

I think it is a great decision and I have had a blast researching and buying these. Also, I always wait for sales or coupons on things. - Kelly's closet seems to always have a good coupon going. Right now you spend like $45 and get a free one size diaper.

I ordered from sun baby diapers

. They're perfect and half the price of bum genius and those other brands. They're beautiful and have different patterns all the time.

I'm going to apologize in advance - I'm in a bit of a snarky mood - so if any of that comes across, I apologize. I'm trying to be patient and accepting today, which hasn't worked so well so far.

First off, I see you've been around the board a bit, but if I haven't personally said it - welcome!

Second - at the top of the first page of posts on our lovely June 14 board - there is a little search icon at the top - right to the right of the numbers designated the various pages for our board - that looks like an eyeglass. That is what you click to search - in general, in the future, before you post something like this - search first. Because we've talked about this before. I've written novels before, and I have offered advice before. If you have any questions about CDs, please feel free to send me a PM and ask away - a few other girls have and I am more than happy to help demystify what can be an overwhelming new world - but one that I love and am happy to encourage.

I am a FTM, but I am planning to go the cloth diaper route. I have decided to go with BumGenius 4.0 snaps. I hope I am making the right decision, but savings alone should make it worth it! ;-)

I never noticed this search area before! I kept trying to search over on the right where it says, "search boards" and select the June 2014 board, but it comes up with results from all the boards anyway. This is very helpful!

I just bought my first stash. I bought thirsties brand because they had high reviews on Amazon and are decently priced. I got three covers and an AIO. I also bought osocozy prefolds and one fitted cloth diaper. Hope I like them!
