The military care just leaves a pregnant woman guessing for about 12 weeks to see if things are even going according to plan... That's the first time they'll even look at my blood levels and examine me, don't think I get to see anything :-S disappointing since as a first time pregnancy I have so many questions and concerns.
I had my appt with nurse today- went over family history, policys, billing, gave out information, etc..... tomorrow I go for labs and friday i have my actual physical with my doc. I won't have to have a pap but will get other testing done and an ultrasound. I'll be 8 weeks 5 days
My first appointment is not until Feb 28. I should be 10 weeks. I can't wait but I'm also nervous too. I had a miscarriage and i never got to hear the heartbeat, so I'm scared but I just want to make sure everything is ok.
My u/s is Feb 6th (9 weeks) and my first dr's appt is exactly a week later. I've been having spotting and cramps so the wait is killing me (I've been in touch with my Dr about it via email, but haven't seen her yet).
I called to set up my first appt today and they told me end of February since I'm only 5 weeks along. I think if I had reminded them of my miscarriage, they may have moved it up. I'll try to be patient.
Mine is not until Feb 18 -- I will be about 9w4d. My ob doesn't typically see pts until 10 weeks. It's so far away but at least maybe then if they do the ultrasound we'll see a lot!
My first appt with the OB is on Monday. Not sure how far along I am (either 6 weeks or 9) so I don't know if she'll do an US then or schedule that for another time. Though at the OB orientation they said that TriCare only guarantees two US, unless medically necessary to do more, and that they do the transvaginal us. Never had one of those and I'm not sure I'm really okay with the idea of that. Leave it to the military medical system to make what's supposed to be a beautiful experience into something awkward and uncomfortable.
I go on the 29th, when I'll be 6w3d. I had a CP in November and some spotting right when I got my BFP, so the doc wanted me to come in during the 6th week, though usually they don't bring people in before 8 weeks.
ETA: had bloodwork at 3w4d and 4w1d to check betas after spotting.

Does your doctor know about your loss? If not, you should tell her/him. She/he might want to see you sooner given your history. Don't be alarmed if she/he doesn't, though!
My first appointment is today but it sounds like it'll just be tests and a Q&A. I so badly want the U/S because I'm not 100% certain of the dates. My cycles are super irregular so it's really hard to say when I ovulated. I should be somewhere in the 7-8 week range now though...
Mine's not until the 28th either. I'll be a couple days shy of 12 weeks. Kind of nerve wracking for a first time mom! I wish I knew what was going on in there!
Going tomorrow for 1st appt. Will be 7 weeks 2 days. Is anyone else bringing their husband to appt?
I'm bringing my husband & our 4 year old daughter. I wasn't planning to bring our daughter but since my MIL spilled the beans to her that "there's a baby mommy's belly" all she's talked about is this baby & being a big sister. Since I know we're getting an ultrasound I think it will be neat experience for her.
The clinic I get seen at has a separate Prenatal program, so my first appointment is on Feb 3rd and I'll be around 6 weeks which I'm told I just get to go in and answer questions and to make sure they have space in their prenatal program, the appointment after that is with the prenatal coordinator (Who I have no idea what they will be doing.) and then after that I finally get my first appointment with the OB which they hope will be around 10 weeks, which is when they usually start seeing you.
I'm mostly excited to find out where my baby is actually at. They are basing my current due date based on my LMC, but I don't have 28 day cycles, so it could be a little inaccurate.
I go next Wednesday, and I'll be 7W 2D...unless I O'd later than normal. My temps were off the charts wonky so I still have no idea when I O'd and we just DTD every other day for like 2 weeks hoping it would work.
I have my 1st appointment Feb 4 and I will be 9 weeks and 2 days.

I won't have my appointment until the end of February. I'm in the military and they do the first appointment at 10 weeks where I am from. I am going in to see the nurse next Wednesday just for an orientation
I got for my first u/s on Tuesday (Jan 28th) and my first OB appt is Jan 30th. I asked my GP to send me for an early u/s because I had twins last time and I want to make sure this is just 1 baby this time. I'll only be 6+1 so I'm really hoping to see something.
My doctor didn't want to see me until 10-12 weeks along, so with my work schedule and her appointment openings means I don't get to see her until Feb. 24th and I will be 11wk6d on that date. I am going crazy waiting to hear/see baby.
I had an appointment with the nurse at my OB's office on the 9th to confirm my pregnancy, but we're having a longer appointment nexy Wednesday where we should get to see our little muppet. The waiting is so hard! This is my first pregnancy and I've never been a patient person. I'm trying not to stress over the wait but not stressing is not a strength of mine! I'll be a little over eight weeks by then.
Mine is coming up on Wednesday (5 w3d) but it's only because I happened to have my annual scheduled for that day already. OB says she will try to look for heartbeat but told me not to be disappointed if we don't see it. I didn't think it was a huge deal but now I'm getting antsy.
I am 5 weeks 2 days today, and I have my first GYN appointment on Friday the 31st to confirm the pregnancy. After that I'll make an appointment for the first ultrasound, and following that my first OBGYN appointment…. I wanted to wait a bit so that I would be able to see something on the ultrasound. :-)
