DD has started to reach for mine too! Be careful though, when DD1 was a baby she grabbed DH's glasses off his face and threw them on the floor and actually broke them!
I pretty much always hold DD on my hip facing outward, specifically to avoid this. Plus it has always been her favorite way to be carried... guess she likes to look around.
Yep, he grabs them and puts them in his mouth. He broke DH's glasses two months ago. The frames snapped in half when he grabbed them. (DH had had the frames since high school).
I might be getting PRK surgery in a couple weeks, which would fix this problem... but DD always grabs my glasses now, too!
Slightly different I had lasik 6 years ago.. guess what my vision failed JUST ENOUGH to need glasses again... sigh.. and pregnancy changes your vision (normally goes back if it does)

Oh no! That stinks!
I've heard that even with Lasik or PRK, it's most likely I'll still need reading glasses when I get to "that age" but that sucks that you already need glasses only 6 years out.

Makes me question whether it's worth it... ?
