Enough said. I didn't think my spirit could be crushed into any more pieces than it already had been.
I just don't know where to go from here.
Edited: Sorry, I just could barely breathe when I got the call from my DH and didn't give details.
So to recap, we had 16 eggs, 14 mature, only 7 fertilized with ICSI. No idea why such
poor percentage as we had 100% fertilize during IVF#1. I would like to blame it on the embryologist error rather than my eggs (just because my genetic disorder obviously doesn't prevent them from fertilizing since they did so well with IVF #1) but who knows. As of Monday on Day 3,
all 7 were growing and dividing (just like last time). As of today, 3 arrested sometime after they checked them on Monday and the final 4 were lagging behind and
weren't ready to test today, so therefore transfer was cancelled. The embryologist told us that, by the looks of
things, all 4 are unhealthy and she expects them to arrest by tomorrow
morning.
I am starting to believe that my body just didn't create any healthy eggs. I'd like to think it has, but I don't have forever to keep trying, nor the money to keep trying. Someone REALLY needs to invent ute goggles. It would save me a lot of time and trouble. Our WTF appt is Feb 17th so we will be talking to our RE about next steps. He'll try again, if we want to, I'm sure, but I just don't know if I can keep putting myself through this sense of failure. Embryo adoption is also on the table, but I don't know what that entails.
This just sucks.

Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.
June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!
