DH drives this hidious 1986 diesel flat bed truck. He bought it last spring and sold his jeep to his ex.... He has had 17 vehicles. We counted the other day. He's a mechanic. He likes cars. He also has another 80s truck torn apart in our garage. It's down to the frame. He's rebuilding the engine.
We don't name our vehicles. And I don't have any pictures.
My first car was a '96 silver Ford Taurus with purple interior. We called it the Purple People Eater. It had been my great Aunt's and when she couldn't drive anymore, she gave it to me. She used to keep large amounts of cash stashed in the car and I was always hoping I'd find a hidden stash. Driving that car in the snow was so scary and the heater didn't work half the time. It was so ghetto!
Definatly drive the jeep first, rough ride IMO, I'd go with Toyota or Lexus (both good cars, huge price difference)

My first car was a 2000 black mustang convertible with a tan top. I loved it but it was my parents car for me to drive until they made me buy my own. My first bought car was a 95 Isuzu rodeo a.k.a the blue bruiser.
We are going to be in the market soon. I want either a jeep Cherokee Laredo or a new ford explorer. DH wanted an infinity g36 but I'm not sure if that's what he still wants.

How many cars does your household own/lease? Own 4 - DH has a 2010 chevy tahoe, plus we have a 2008 lexus isf and a 2002 lexus sc430 in the garage.

Any car stories to share? My second car at the end of college was a bright red saturn ion. In the summer i remember going out with girl friends, getting honked at and flashing guys.

When I went to trade in my Celica I was a wreck. I cried the WHOLE time. I was 7 months pregnant. I felt bad for the guys at the dealership, but I could NOT stop. The celica was the first cars (I had two diff ones) that I paid for myself and it was paid off. I wish I'd kept it, but I can't imagine getting the baby in and out.
I see "my car" around town and I still get teary. It's ridiculous.

We bought it used last May so we are making payments.
We only have one because we sold my 2 door after we bought the Ford and then DH's died. So we are going in a couple weeks to look for a new something for him.

We also have a Nissan Altima I can't remember the year but I'm thinking like a 2007-08? We own that outright. As soon as it dies I'm buying a Prius or selling my husband.
Now I drive an 07 Accord. DH drives a Taurus. Boring!

We only have the one car to run errands, etc. as we usually walk or take public transportation.

My first car was a '91 Oldsmobile Cierra fully equipped with a bench seat. My twin sis, best friend, and I would all ride around in the front seat with an empty back seat. We'd also play this game where the person in the driver's seat would control the steering wheel & the person in the middle seat would control the pedals. Safe driving at it's finest. X_X

We ended up getting this van that they had in the showroom.
Yep, it was beautiful. The outside almost looked grey instead of purple, haha. My mom bought it from an older woman.
I love the Yaris. It is now the adults only car since it is easier to put the kid in the PT. I miss driving the Yaris since it is easier to drive and is small so it fits everywhere.
We are paying on it now.
We own 4 cars and a motorcycle. 3 cars and a motorcycle are paid off. My husband is a mechanic, so he works on them all to make them look better and drive better and then he sells them and buys new ones.
The first car I bought by myself was a 2008 jeep wrangler, my husband mostly drives it now.
