Birth Center VS Hospital

We have recently decided to use a birthing center rather then hospital. This my first bun, but #5 for hubby. The plan has always been all natural and I am going to be seeing the same RN, Doula, and mid-wives that will be there for delivery as each monthly appt. So I honestly don't see many cons.

That sounds lovely. Which birth center are you going with? I think we've decided on the birth center at UCSF (which is still partially a hospital). We'll be working with nurse-midwives for most of our care there.

It is located in Sacramento. The plus is that if needed the hospital is about a mile away.
