My husband has taken to not eating bananas when I bring them home from the store in hopes they will rot and I will make banana bread. I understand I have the best/easiest recipe in the WORLD for it, but since the recipe isn't mine it isn't my "signature" and I think he just needs to eat the dang bananas! I'm still making two loaves now.
Pregnancy cravings are no joke. I know people believe there is no science behind them, but what explains eating a crunchy shrimp roll, some sour cream and onion chips and an ENTIRE honeydew for lunch? None of those things are complimentary.
I sorted all my laundry and had my husband drag it out of the bathroom. He left it on the fireplace mantle. How trashy. Still not getting up to wash it.
The highlight of my weekend will be going to the mall to return a coat.
Blue Cross is on my very last nerve. I thought I was choosing the least suckiest of the healthcare options but the STACK of medical bills on my dresser says otherwise. The system is SO broken in this country. Ugh.
My H is probably going to buy a truck randomly in the next few days and I am really not happy. Now the weekend is going to be full of awkward tension and fighting and I'm just so disappointed and not looking forward to it.
We have our company awards banquet tomorrow and my dress has not come. The tracking info doesn't show so I have no idea when it will be here. Because of that I have to go shopping tonight and we have a crappy maternity selection. I'm super stressed out.

@ricecakes1216 this will sound cheesy but have you tried Sears? My first pregnancy I spared no expense and bought lots of cute clothes. Going through my closet over the weekend I noticed most of the best stuff came from Sears and I know they have some fancy-schmance stuff, too. I would never otherwise shop there but I discovered their maternity line while waiting on DH to buy tools.
1. If I wouldn't get fired or arrested, I would shove my foot up our CEO's ass. He is the prime example of a top corporate employee not understanding a single thing that happens during day to day operations and makes stupid, poor decisions that affect our department and cause unnecessary spending.
2. We are spending the weekend at the ski resort we got married at this summer for H's birthday. Even though I am feeling much better, I told H and my dad that I am still not feeling great, so I am opting out of skiing. Totally going to get a massage instead.
3. There is a cocktail cabin there that has a drink called a poco loco...vodka infused with fresh pineapple for a week, then a habanero pepper is added to the mix for the last 4 hours or so, the mix is shaken with honey and ice and served. It is the absolute most delicious, amazing thing of my life and knowing that I won't get to enjoy one this weekend makes me sad. I will have sips of wine here and there but I'm not comfortable even sipping/tasting straight vodka. Sniffing will have to do.
4. We have our A/S on Monday and I seriously don't know if I can contain my excitement or wait to find out. I don't know how team green-ers do it. Zero willpower.
5. Because of our stupid CEO, I am doing everything that I can to be absolutely unproductive this afternoon.
February Siggy Challenge - Picture of You and DH. Us with our engagement pumpkins. DH carved each word of "Will You Marry Me" and the date 10/11/12 into five dfferent pumpkins.
DH and I are taking his parents out to a nice dinner tonight as a thank you for some amazing stuff they have helped us with. All day I've been thinking about what I'll order... Scallops? Filet Mignon? Lamb Chops? I want to eat all the food!
I heard a bunch of screaming outside today so I look out my front window to see a little kid getting beat up by three other kids while two of his friends just watched. I ran outside yelling at them to break it up and they ran away. Poor kid could hardly get up off the ground. I offered him a ride home but he said he was ok and rode off on his bike.
I have a new rediculously stupid obsession. I can't stop watching Gossip Girl on Netflix. Hubs hates that I watch it. I can't stop.
Also, I too just want to eat Girl Scout cookies. I live in Savannah which is apparently the birthplace of girl scouts but I have no clue where to find them!!!!
June '14 September Siggy challenge- Favorite things about fall
@Mrs Case Ha! I was out of town for 5 days and asked DH to eat the bananas while I was away. I came home to brown bananas and a husband saying "but now you can make banana bread!" *sigh* He totally did it on purpose.
I ate doritos and drank snapple for dinner the last two nights. It has made me sick both nights, but I just dont feel like cooking. I cant say I wont do it again, even though it makes me want to throw up.
I don't keep snacks in the house for this reason, but DH bought a bag. I have no self control.
I want to change my avatar...it's for Xmas but I'm too lazy to get my laptop from the other room. It wouldn't be that bad to have a dog with reindeer ears on...in June.

FWIW I thought it was bunny ears...soooo, early celebration of Easter?
Random: I want honey mustard.
Yessss @junemom3 amazing idea! From now on its bunny ears. You all heard it here first.
This isn't random for me, but for you all it'll be really weird. I'm a Christian - Mennonite, not an 'old order' as you will, but I do wear dresses all the time and have a black cap I wear on my head. We've got electricity and drive cars, and obviously I'm on the internet/computer. Thought I'd add, I don't mind questions at all so don't be worried about it if you've got one
@lizMO5 that is totally badass!! Love it. Tell me all about your life. You are now fascinating to me! Someone at our church was raised Mennonite and when his family comes we are all about them!!

I bought my dog a new bed tonight. Half because his old one didnt look fluffy anymore but mostly because I want the pup to know he is still loved even with all the changes in the house. Silly.
Also, I can't wait to watch the Lifetime remake of Flowers in the Attic tomorrow night. I remember watching the Kristie Swanson version with my mom and my sister when I was little and thinking it was so scary (there wasn't much in the sister/brother incest in that version, either)... I'm totally going to watch while DH is at work.
Lol! I dunno if I've ever heard it called badass before trying to think of something here... We don't have TVs, radios, or musical instruments. Really don't know of a lot different. We don't have photos either. The way we live is our beliefs, how we feel God would want us to live, and I don't mind saying why, but I really hate the preachy types, so I hope I don't come across that way. The ladies don't wear jewelry or make up rather having our 'insides' be beautiful. (If that makes any sense). We pretty much just live normal lives. I actually didn't grow up this way and joined this Church when I was 15 with my parents and sister. One interesting thing is when people wanna get married, the (not always) young man goes to one of our ministers and tells him he is interested in a certain girl, and if he feels like its God's will. The minister will talk with the other ministers and 'staff' as we call em, and if they feel like it's an open door, the minister goes and talks with the girl or to her parents. If everyone says yes then the minister calls the very nervous young man back and tells him they're engaged
A lot of the ladies sew their own clothes, as I do. Our dresses are one fabric and can be any pattern or fabric as long it follows a couple guidelines: modesty and simplicity.
@LizM05 is that how you got engaged? Do you miss anything? What kind of hobbies do you do? Do you make your clothes? I'm so curious! I find this fascinating!

That book caused so much controversy at my high school. The school board ended up banning it because so many parents were freaking out about us reading it.
Re: Randoms Go Here
I want chips and salsa, all day everyday. Followed by thin crust cheese pizza and a coke.
Because of that I have to go shopping tonight and we have a crappy maternity selection. I'm super stressed out.
