There was a video with full penis in the bathtub, and a picture playing with legos (that was hashtagged #babypenis #sorrynotsorry and something else) where his penis was in full view. I know for sure the legos picture was removed almost immediately after I commented, and I can't recall about the video.

Posting pictures on the internet of your child's penis is not legal. Just a public service announcement. The internet, and intimate home photography, has changed a lot since we were kids. Yes, my parents have a few pictures of Baby Anita in the nude. Right or wrong? Not sure.

Personally, I don't think showing butt cheeks is bad, but again, context is important. I would never show pictures of Jack's butt and hashtag something inappropriate with it. But naked Jack playing outside in the sprinkler? I'm not as concerned about something like that. But penis or vagina is just not ok to post. Ever.

No snark AT ALL here because I agree with your rulings. If you're on the FB page will you watch my video from HDBD and tell me if there is inappropriate nudity, IYO? DD is in the background with her shirt off and I debated forever on whether or not to post the video. I went with it because she's blurry and it's not a lot of her.

@cherrycrepe I haven't come out on FB. I'm 16 weeks. I'm just not compelled to yet. I'm thinking I might be more excited to in a few weeks when we find out baby's sex.

I think it's a bad idea to post genital pictures anywhere. Anywhere. (But I don't see anything that actually makes it look like she was attempting to sexualize her kid, FTR.)

ETA: I would also be WAY too terrified to ever take any naked selfies. I'm always baffled by public figures who get caught. Brett Favre - yuck.

I like to have my kids named when I find out their sex so I can "stake claim" on the name (by posting it on social media, which is pretty much as official as a birth certificate).

There are a ton of people I know IRL (including lots of family) that are PG and my biggest fear is that my name will get taken before I make it public.

Yeah maybe? I have no clue. I'm guessing she's lurking and not saying anything.

My point is, no one is defending her actions. The only thing I've seen anyone say is they don't think she was intentionally sexualizing her kid. Dumb move? For SURE! I'm hoping she just didn't think it through.

We didn't with Nancy either, however in my Dad's obit it said something like "new grandbaby" or something to that effect and people put it together since my siblings are all in their 40s. Not that you can't have kids in your 40s, but it was more likely that it was me. :-) This time around DH wants to and I think it's stupid.

This was my experience too. We have lots of friends and family with 2u2 though so it is pretty normal. People were asking us when we were going to try again at James' first birthday and my close friends all knew we were trying. We still waited until 16 weeks to announce on FB and I didn't tell work until 13 weeks.

Only to here. I don't keep naked pics of my kids on my smartphone. I don't take full naked pics of them ever. I have very little trust in the privacy of my phone. The rare occasion that I take a few bath pics, I immediately delete if anything got in. I think everyone has their own comfortable level with their smartphone but no one should be comfortable posting toddler penis on the internet.

Thought I would toss in this potential UO since people are starting to potty train. I do not need to see pictures of your kids on the toilet. Thank you.
