I'm a 35 yr old FTM with twin girls making their appearance by 38 weeks (according to my dr) which means sometime in March. I text or email. My obsessions are traveling and irish dancing, but I'm pretty sure I'd be compatible with anyone since we've got "havin' a baby" in common

Oh wow. I'm just starting to finally get into my birth club via my iPhone app. Seems its become quite a tight nit group. Now I'm wishing I searched through this app a little sooner.

Include your due date, state or city of residence and number you'd like to receive texts on.. If you wish to be in a smaller group of 3-5 let me know and I can set that up too.. :-)

I'm available to be your labor buddy if you still need one. I'm a 34 yr old FTM with a baby boy due on 4/3. So we should have some separation between us being in the hospital if you deliver in March. I can text or e-mail as long as your promise not to sign me up for crazy mailing lists and jokes of the day.

Edit: My obsessions are my two boxer fur kids. They are spoiled and have way too many toys, bones, and antlers.

Hmmm you make a good point.. Well I guess I'm more of a reader than a commenter and comment more on the what to expect app since I've just had that app longer.. At worst, that's what this is. At best it's like the people who never posted on our board - or were active on other boards/sites - but wanted to participate in our Secret Santa for some weird reason

@Simonelotter I apologize if you are, in fact, a real person. New people are welcome on our board, and I'm always hesitant to jump on the Troll bandwagon just in case it's a legit pregnant lady looking for support who just doesn't quite get it yet. If you are, indeed, real, let me clear a few things up for you: Labor Buddies are the pairs of people on these forums who have gotten to know each other over the last six-ish months and want to be each other's go-to person to announce their pregnancy on this board. It's not a "the more the merrier" situation. I am very hesitant to give out my personal information to anyone online, let alone post it on a public forum, and you being free about doing so makes you look suspect. If you are real, and want to have a Labor Buddy, I'd suggest you stop lurking, as you claim, and start participating. By the time we get to know you enough to overcome the very awkward way you started off here, the Labor Buddy pairings will be over, but if you're nice and people have gotten to know you, you may have someone willing to announce your birth for you. But you need to post and participate, or else no one except the very naive will trust you with their contact info.

I thought a had one already, but I see that she's paired up with someone else. Maybe, it was a miscommunication or I just suck. I'd rather a daily/weekly poster ( someone I'm familiar with if possible) not a lurker. I'm due 4/17 love texting. Ummmm I'm a TTM. If all else fails, I'll just let Piney work her magic.

Second, at this point since so many have been paired up, it may be best to think about someone you'd like to be paired with and PM them if their name isn't on the list. That way you'll get someone you like, since you don't want someone random. @Pineconey let me know if I'm overstepping or stepping on your toes, but that's what I'd do if I were in your shoes @SeattleMomma.

Isn't this what we already have set up and going on here? But instead of giving you all our contact info we are just sharing it with 1-2 people... What good would group texting do? We can talk to each other on the boards or talk to our labor buddy via text already. I'm just confused why we're trying to make it more complicated having the boards, small groups and labor buddies. Seems pointless IMO.

Yeh it's been a complete nightmare! He is selling it as he can't afford to fix the damage as the house pretty much needs half the house knocking down and redoing so he issued a section 21 I think it is, so we're just leaving as soon a we can to get out but finding a new place that allows a fur baby and such short notice and proven difficult lol. Thanks it's nice to think someone noticed I haven't been about haha
