Labor Buddies - FINAL

Matchmaker LB edition is closed.
If you are unsatisfied with your match for any reason... find another buddy on your own or ask to join a group.  If you PMed me but didn't get matched... it might be because your post history is practically non-existent.  The point of Labor Buddies is to have someone that you "know" announcing the birth of your child to this group of people that you've gotten to "know" over the past few months.

I will not be matching anyone else.  Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's' been a 3 week project, and I don't intend to do it forever!

If you were paired up with someone and you have decided you no longer are interested in being a labor buddy, please let them know.  It's the courteous thing to do.  Know that if you don't respond to your buddy, they may drop you like a hot potato and find someone else.

Labor buddy is someone you give your contact info to, and then text/call when you go into labor and with whatever updates you feel like sharing, and they'll post it to the board. I think you should be due 1w+ apart.

With my first pregnancy, my labor buddy was the end of the month and I was the beginning of the month. I went over due and she went early. We both went into labor about 2 hours apart. So it doesn't always work out but it is nice to have one at least a week apart.

Also, if anyone is looking for a LB, Lauren's eviction date is April 4th

I would love a LB, but should maybe get one towards the end of the month (?)  My due date is April 24th, but my twin due date is April 10th.  It would be neat to get someone close to me so we can quickly become best friends forever and walk our babies together, but I would just love a LB in general.

Now that I sound needy and pretentious, who wants me?

pineconey, I think people are trying to find love on these posts first before bothering you with a PM.  I wouldn't take information off of the reply's here if I were you.  You clearly stated to PM you with the details, so I assume people will do that when they are ready.

Yay! I kind of feel like I'm going to be the kid who is picked last for the team, but I like having the option of being randomly assigned if we don't find true requited bump love. I'm due the 29th! I guess I'll have to get on a computer to send a PM!

Exciting!!! My new due date is 4/24, but doc says ill likely have a scheduled C the week of the 14th... I don't know what date yet. I'm hoping ON the 14th.. (That was my moms birthday, u think that would be extremely cool since she's passed away.)

I am totally interested in participating. I do not mind being randomly paired or being asked to be a buddy. I am due April the 11th. I can take someone in the beginning or the end of the month. My only concern is having someone close in time zones, sorry if we are 6 hours apart in time I'd hate to let everyone know to late. 

I am Eastern time and  I am up and online most days from 7 am till 12/1 am most days. I am a SAHM and attend school online (hence always online...lol)

Keep in mind, y'all, that babies are born all times of the day, so I'm not sure that like time zones matter so much.

Me too! One of my choices is due 4 days after me, one is a day after and another one has the same due date. :-?

Time zones are not an issue for me, just thought it would be easier if we were closer in time. I agree 100% baby comes when it is ready. Seattle and that neck of the woods is only a 3 hour difference (daughter father lives there). So honestly it doesn't matter I would just love to have a labor buddy!

QUESTION: Can we have one labor buddy, and then be a labor buddy? What I mean is, I get "paired" with someone, and when she goes into labor I will keep The Bump informed, and when I go into labor, I'll notify someone else and she will let The Bump know, but those ladies are different people. Does that make any sense? Hypothetical: I start labor, I tell BiggerinRealLife, she tells A14 - deidremaria starts labor, she tells me, I tell A14.
