You either get a feel for the boards and stay, or if you decide you don't like it, you can leave and find another site that is a better fit for you. It's as simple as that.
I like this board because the members don't give you false hope. I have learned so much from being here. Everyone is honest and don't just say what they think you want to hear. If you can't take the snark and don't have a sense of humor, then maybe this isn't the place for you.

This is a legit community- like, I just met 5 of these ladies IRL yesterday. We don't know you, we don't want to see your urine covered pee stick. You've seen the community for what it is- no nonsense, but if you lurked more you'd see that if you give support, you get it. You gave support to one other newb yesterday. Thats not grounds for a "judge my pee stick" post. In fact, all the regs do this in the 2WW- we don't even create a whole new thread for it. That's never going to change, no matter what you or that Nicole chick say or do. Take it or leave it.
but to the rest of you. i really dont care! honestly. like i said i wont make a new discussion anymore. its not really a big deal. its a online forum. ive seen pictures of cm on here for goodness sake. if you dont like what you see there are hundreds of other post on here for you to read. i wasnt trying to purposely offend anyone or make anyone feel bad.
but i went and got a 6 day earlier first response test (pink dye) and there is a line even darker then the blue one. i know i cant post it but i did start tracking my symptoms a couple days ago so if anyone wants to know what they are inbox me. there are no stupid questions. thats how you learn. You decided to join when you have a potential positive HPT. That's just not the same as posting an introduction & participating. It's just not.
There are posters that read the newbie post at the top of the board, participate & support folks. If they are lucky & get a BFP their first month then you will see them congratulated.
It's not that I don't like looking at your pee stick. It's not that serious. It's that it looks incredibly self-serving, selfish & immature to ask us if we think your HPT is positive & that's it.
You can post, but seeing as how you appear to have graduated from TTGP to pregnant then you'll find first trimester might be more your speed. You don't have to be TTC to be here, but you haven't taken the effort to make friends & form relationships here. So it makes no sense for you to keep posting here. This board goes back & forth on whether or not pg posters are permitted.
Usually if you were a productive, supportive & regular poster no one would care. However, you were none of these things so it probably doesn't apply.

Resumed TTC 6/2013~Chronic stomach pain and distension: 8/2013~TTA 1/2014 Until Resolved ~7/2014: Trip to the Mayo Clinic--SUCCESS!! Finally on the road to getting better.
Resumed TTC 7/2014! Third time's the charm....8/2014 Visited the RE~DX: MFI/low morph~Straight to IVF with ICSI! 9/2014~Transferred 1 perfect beautiful 6AA blast with 10 to freeze!!!~10/8/2014: BFP!!!! EDD: 6/17/15 STICK LITTLE BEAN!!! IT'S A BOY!!!!!
Also I would ask these kind of questions in first tri....those ladies have "been there and done that" for all things pregnancy related.
