If the tech said its a boy then I would believe what they are saying over all of us on this board! Im also pretty sure that a tech would not tell you it's a boy or a girl unless they were almost 100% positive.

If you're 18 weeks and tech said boy, it's a boy. You usually only run into the whoops situations where people find out based on the angle of the dangle at the NT scan. At this point external genitalia is developed enough to see the difference between a penis and vagina. So, you either have a boy or a girl with a penis.

But, to answer your post - no, not so rude - people questioned why OP even posted this, given the sonographer wrote BOY on the u/s. If the trained medical professional weighed in, why would we be a reliable second opinion? Second - what exactly do we deserve? Oh, for rude random passers by to stop posting stuff like that? That'd be awesome.
