We got a sweet little dog named Honey when I was 16. She is now 19 years old and I'm pretty sure we are going to have to put her to sleep today. If you are the praying kind please say a prayer for me...this is going to be really hard! Why do pets have to live such a short life?
Thanks.

I like to think dogs are here for a short time to help us humans learn to about love and kindness. They already know how to love unconditionally and be brave and live life in the present, so they just need to be here long enough to help a human learn, too.
It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
