Good Morning Ladies - Hope everyone had a great week! I find myself attempting to get back in the routine of work now (this is my first full week in almost a month). How did you all do over the holidays?

  • Week/Fruit: 20 Weeks/Banana
    What you did this week: 
    Tuesday: 2 mile with dog/1 hour yoga class
    Wednesday: 30 min on elliptical/1 hour yoga class
    Sunday: 3 mile walk with dog
    Rants/Raves: Rant: since seeing my OB last Tuesday - he told me I can do limited exercise because of marginal placenta previa. This really sucks. I hate not being able to run or do my kickboxing classes, trying to remember this is all for the best though :)
    Goals for this week: Make it to the gym at least 4-5 this week using the elliptical and doing some yoga. I also want to take a first stab at spin class :) I've never done one before.

  • Week/Fruit: 23/Grapefruit
    What you did this week: 
    Sun- Ran 4 miles
    Tues - Ran 3.5 miles, elliptical & free weights/abs
    Thurs - Ran 3.5 miles, biked 4 miles & free weights/abs
    Sat - Ran 3.5 miles, elliptical & free weights/abs
    Rants/Raves: Rants: My belly is getting bigger and it's getting a bit difficult to run. I've bought a support belt that helps, but hopefully it'll last me through the entire pregnancy. Ab exercises are also becoming harder to do. Raves: I'm still proud of myself that I am hitting the gym consistently and not giving up.
    Goals for this week: Eat healthier. I had 2 donuts for breakfast this morning and won't even tell you what I had to eat this weekend.

  • Week/Fruit: 21/I can't remember
    What you did this week:  Not much.  Just took the dogs on a few walks.
    Rants/Raves: I have been on vacation from work (which is where my gym is located) for 2 weeks, and while it was freakin wonderful, I did a piss poor job of working out at home.  On the bright side I was off for 2 weeks and it was glorious!
    Goals for this week:  Get my fat butt back to the gym!!

    Thurs- short walk- it was cold out and I got a killer side ache
    Fri- 40 min walk
    Sat- 30 min strength

    Rants/raves- I'm feeling like I really fell off the workout train. There were a few weeks where I only got in one day. But I keep telling myself to push forward and that I don't have to give up. I'm feeling big bc I'm having twins, so my belly feels like it did at 6-7 months with DD. My endurance is shot and I'm pretty exhausted most days from chasing a 19mo old.

    Goals: Going to try to do some kind of activity 3-4 days/week. Anything is better than nothing!
  • Week/Fruit: 23/Grapefruit
    What you did this week: 
    Sun- organized the basement (lifting/moving boxes - does this count?)
    Tues - spin class x 60 mins + 30 mins free weights
    Wed - aerial lesson x 30 minutes; 60 mins Zumba
    Thurs - 2 hrs. aerial instruction (I count this as weight lifting)
    Sat - 3 mile walk with H and dogs
    Sun - 3 mils walk with H and dogs
    Rants/Raves: Rants: I feel huge, but I don't really look unusually large for this stage in the pregnancy. Although last week, my pre-natal massage therapist did say to me: "wow, you're really showing!" Raves: my groin hurts like I've been gang-raped. This is normal, right?
    Goals for this week: Eat more protein.
  • p.s. I begin pre-natal pilates this Friday...looking forward to strengthening my pelvic floor (feels weird to type that...)
  • Week/Fruit: 22 weeks - papaya
    What you did this week: I had the past two weeks off from work, so I was able to get in lots of quality gym time.  I felt like I really needed it, as everything leading up to the holidays was super stressful!
     
    Su- spin class
    M - bootcamp & cardio KB
    T- spin
    W - cardio KB/express muscle combo class
    Th - spin & muscle class
    F - Off for the snow day!
    Sa - spin & prenatal yoga
     
    Rants/Raves: I love having my energy back!  No complaints for now, as I actually feel the best after a good workout.
     
    Goals for this week: Same as last week.  5-6 solid gym days is my goal!
