Hi, Just wanted to make sure but the #1 on the nipple goes to the babies mouth? And does that mean it's the newborn slow flo? I got them free fr motherhood & thought I try them out before buying. Thank you for your help!!!
I'm not sure what you mean by the #1 goes to the babies mouth. But yes, the #1 is the slowest flow for the Avent Natural.
We use these bottles, they seem to flow fast though. If I wouldn't have bought a ton if them before LO was born I would switch to something else. But we are making due and she is getting use to them.
Yes!! As PP said they definitely have a fast flow, she spits up a lot more and sometimes even chokes on the milk cuz she gets too much. I have the avent and the dr brown newborn bottles, both are kind of a pain but she definitely prefers the dr brown! Just hate cleaning all the parts
There is a 1 on the nipple- for tommee tippee the air hole goes on top and the 1 on the nipple goes downward in babies mouth. Sorry if I'm explaining it poorly
I used this bottle for the first time tonight and I agree that the flow is faster. I am going to use the dr browns and switch to avent when she gets a little older
I have been bf my little man and have fed him a bottle a couple times using Avent bottles. Yes it doesn't matter where the number is on the nippel and my little guy doesn't seem to have an issue with the flow, and will switch back and forth between bf and bottle feeding. I wouldn't go with the next level up though. We used Avent with my older daughter and they were fine.
