@jmejme How the heck did I not know you are from NE?

I think there's around five or six of us now! I would suggest a GTG, but I think I'm not leaving house until spring. It's too darn cold out there!!

6.) Since we're a pretty green board, what's something you're most proud of doing to be "green"? We have gone through less than 1 roll of paper towels in the almost 2 years we've lived in this house.

7.) Anything non-green that you do and don't feel guilty about? we have a much bigger house than we currently need, so that wastes a bunch to heat it and cool it, but not having the hassle of trying to move again is worth it.

8.) Name three random facts about yourself? I teach middle school special ed. I love vaulting (gymnastic on horseback) I like to cook and crochet

9.) Anything else you want to share? I don't like to argue, but if you tell me I can't do something I will try to prove you wrong by doing it and excelling at it. Quiet rebellion.

2.) How long have you been with DH/SO? Where and how did you meet? Married 7 years, together 8; we've been friends since we were about 12 years old!

3.) How old are your LOs? Do you want any more babies?
Leif is 9 months old. Probably another someday but I'm nowhere near ready yet. Babies are hard work.

4.) What's your current favorite diaper in your stash?
Flip Jules cover.

5.) Any diapers you are currently drooling over?
Charlie!

6.) Since we're a pretty green board, what's something you're most proud of doing to be "green"?
I clean almost everything with Norwex, which is good for the environment. I only use their wash cloths for washing my face- no soap. Works great.

7.) Anything non-green that you do and don't feel guilty about?
I've been using a new gallon ziplock bag every day to bring my pump parts to work. Oops. I'm letting myself stop pumping after January though, since I have a chest freezer full of milk.

8.) Name three random facts about yourself?
I play guitar, piano, and sing.
I just rewatched every Downton Abbey episode to get ready for tonight's season premiere!
I live in a small town and seem to be related to half the population here.

9.) Anything else you want to share?
I'm a high school English teacher. This board has been really helpful, so thanks!

Spokane, WA....Washington seems to be the popular state behind Nebraska on this board.

Been together 8 years and been married 2. We met through mutual friends and they eneded up being the best man and maid of honor in our wedding.

DD1 is 12 weeks. I definitely want a few more, but I need my husband to be a willing participant to accomplish that. He has some nonsense idea that we're done at two. We'll see how good my persuasion skills are in a few years.

4.) What's your current favorite diaper in your stash?
I'm shamelessly in love with whatever happens to be new in my stash at any given time and since I can't seem to stop buying dipes, my favorite is constantly changing. Right now, it's my paisley simplex that I bought on your ladies' recommendation. Oh, although I'm also loving my blue moo tots bots too..., argh, decisions, decisions.

5.) Any diapers you are currently drooling over?
I definitely want to invest in a few more simplexes now, but I have to get my hands on a Jules print BG first.

6.) Since we're a pretty green board, what's something you're most proud of doing to be "green"?
I started making and putting together "convenience foods" rather than buying prepackaged items, like oatmeal cups, frozen muffins, dried fruit snack bags. I'm considering mama cloth at the moment too.

7.) Anything non-green that you do and don't feel guilty about?
We have a boat and are members of a boating club, so we spend all summer cruising the lake in a boat. I figure my crunchiness makes up for it.

8.) Name three random facts about yourself?
I used to race dirtbikes as a kid.
I took a job in wine country for a year and told my husband it was a work opportunity I couldn't turn down, but mostly it was a personal opportunity I couldn't turn down. Super selfish I know, but I REALLY, REALLY love wine.
I'm a natural blonde, but traveled to Mexico one year and thought I would stand out less with dark hair(I was pretty tan too), so I dyed it a dark brunette amd loved it so much, I've never looked back. People are appalled when they find out I'm really blonde. What's funny is DD was born with a head full of dark hair and people always comment that she got my hair...ummm, nope, not exactly.

9.) Anything else you want to share?
I love this board and the witty banter. I happen to be very indecisive and think you ladies will be perfect for helping me decide on future diaper "investments" as I like to call them.

@CLLDLL Apparently I didn't know anyone was from NE, so I must beb living under a rock. My plan was not to leave the house until Spring, either, an then I remembered DD has her 9 month well-check tomorrow morning...leaving the house sounds miserable if the windchill is like -40.

@JmeJme Leaving the house tomorrow morning for an appointment sounds terrible. I will be thinking of you. It sounds like some of the schools are already talking about closing. So I'm hoping that's my excuse to not leave my house.

2.) How long have you been with DH/SO? Where and how did you meet? We actually were in 1st grade together...then not close as he moved to neighboring town. We were in the same group of friends in HS but didn't date. Started dating after college in late 05/06 from re-introductions from friends. Married in 09.

3.) How old are your LOs? Do you want any more babies? First due in June. Yes probably two total.

4.) What's your current favorite diaper in your stash? They are all my favorites at this point The cutest are prob the Blueberry and the RumpaRoos.

5.) Any diapers you are currently drooling over? Umm there may or may not be another order en route to the house I have been buying all the diapers. And pretty much nothing else for baby yet, actually.

6.) Since we're a pretty green board, what's something you're most proud of doing to be "green"? We buy our meat from farmers by the 1/4 cow and 1/2 pig. Shop farmers markets in season and probably joining a CSA this year. I had my own garden but doubt I'll have much time for it this summer.

7.) Anything non-green that you do and don't feel guilty about? Another SUV lover, and my next won't be smaller. But I think buying local has a bigger impact than my car so meh.

8.) Name three random facts about yourself?
I am a scientist by occupation but would be perfectly content being a SAHM.

We have a farm with miniature donkeys, dwarf goats and chickens. Plus the 2 dogs. We get hay from our field for them to eat

I am also a group fitness instructor.

9.) Anything else you want to share? I enjoy cocktails.

My Twin boys are 4 months old and we soooo have not decided if we're chancing another set

I never get a picture of it because my husband thinks its too girly. its the BG Freetime Lovelace. I LOVE the print and the diaper is great

Lots of girly dipes. I so wish I could get some of the ruffled ones, but with boys my Dad might kill me

uh... I'm not really all that green. So I guess preferring real dishes over paper plates?
