Snap n go or lightweight with Bob/britax b safe car seat??

Registered for the bob revolution and bob car seat which is just the britax b ready car seat rebranded. Any STM or informed FTMs have any recommendations on a lightweight stroller to use with the B-ready car seat? The bob is just too heavy and bulky to take in and out of the car. Thanks!

  • The B-Safe will click in the Britax B-Nimble which is an umbrella stroller. Something you'll appreciate as the baby gets older is in a convertible car seat and you just want to run into the mall real quick.

  • I don't know if this is too close to your BOB plan but we planned to get the city mini gt to pair with the Britax bsafe.

My friend works for a company that gets steal discounts on BOB and she offered to use her annual discount for us. I kinda want to take her up on it but I haven't done any research on them and I'm not sure if it's worth it. Two similar strollers seems excessive.

I think the b nimble is your best bet. The britax b nimble is on sale on amazon under $100 BTW. We used a snap n go (actually the Chicco Keyfit caddy) as our main stroller for 9 months then got a Chicco echo from target. I loved how easy it was to use and take in/out of the car. But if you go that way, you'll still have to get an umbrella stroller down the road. The Chicco liteway plus is also an umbrella stroller that takes a car seat, but I don't know if it is compatible with britax.

  • We just bought the Britax B-Agile system today, after weeks of research. It comes with the B-Safe car seat, but the B-Ready/BOB car seat also clicks into it. We picked the B-Agile because it's super lightweight and we wanted to avoid having to buy a second stroller (an umbrella stroller) for as long as possible. So the B-Agile is kind of in-between the B-Ready and the B-Nimble.

Since you are registered for a jogging stroller the B-Nimble umbrella stroller might be your most light-weight bet. I don't know a lot about the BOB Revolution, is it suitable from birth? That was why we went with the B-Agile over the B-Nimble umbrella stroller, because we didn't want to only use the click-in car seat part until baby is 5-6 months as recommended with umbrella-style strollers.

  • @rachelca29 Ya the bob revolution allows the infant car seat to click in so we can use it at birth.
@copperpoppy I was thinking the same thing that the Bob and B-Agile are too similar but I love how easy the B-Agile is to open and close, maybe it's worth it to have both of these.

Main problem with the B-Nimble was that they didn't have one at BRU for us to test drive!
@danabsd do you have a nimble? How do you like it?

    Thanks everyone!!

Yeah, we wanted a stroller that we can use fro birth without the car seat, that's why we went with the B-Agile, but a lot of people only use the car seat click-in for newborns so that works for them!

  • This thread and another stroller post have made me rethink some of my choices. I'm also considering bumbleride indie. really similar to the city mini gt and bAgile. but I am finding that it does not accommodate the B safe, just the chaperone. I kinda wanted the Graco Snugride 40 anyway.

  • I've heard great things about the graco snug ride seems like it's compatible with everything!! A friend just used her in laws bumbleride and definitely wished she had chosen that. Sounds silly but I love the bright colors of the bumbleride.

I just definitely need a big jogger for terrain and actual jogging :)

We Went for the Bob because of a Black Friday deal that if you bought the stroller you got the infant car seat for free, so saved us a lot of $$.

I have a Maclaren, but knowing what I do about Britax strollers it's probably just like the Maclaren. :) Amazon Prime buy it test it and send it back. :P
