I enjoy knitting, crochet, and a variety of other crafting hobbies, and I also really enjoy seeing what other projects people are up to. I'd love to see what you're working on for baby!
I started this blanket last year, but abruptly stopped when I miscarried. I've picked it up again. It started as a knitted zig-zag pattern, but I didn't like how it was coming along, so I switched to crochet. I've made quite a bit of progress in the past few weeks.
So what are you making for your little one/s?

Other than that, I'm not sure. I want to make Christmas stockings for our whole family and I'd like to make the baby's first few Halloween costumes.
I love seeing everyone's craft ideas!
njnagem - That's a beautiful stocking!
I like everybody's ideas... yeah, it's going to be hot in July... but I figure that buys us a little more time on the warm articles, right? ha ha ha

We've planned out the room but I think Hus is going to do the hard work for that.

This is moreso for DS and I will have one made for Baby#2 also, but I'm going to by supplies to make Ana White's The Little Tower Helper. DS just has to see what I'm doing anytime I'm in the kitchen and loves to play in the water in the sink, so I think this will be a lifesaver.

But other than the twinkle twinkle little star and a driftwood sailboat I don't have many decor ideas yet.
Anyway, I used the PU fabric outside (they sell it at JoAnn's in the babyville stuff), with the insert part being out of terrycloth (I think the pattern uses 4 layer inserts), and the inside out of flannel. So the flannel and terrycloth should be absorbent and the PU is waterproof (but expensive so use your 40% off coupons here).
I will probably start some knitting projects too!
I'm basically looking for nb ones right now because we have a ton of aio dipes already. I'm probably going to make inserts for the best bottom system at some point too.
Oh, and clothdiapermakers.com has a great description of fabrics to use under "fabric".
