End of Month Due Dates

Hi everyone! For those of you with late July due dates, like me, who is still waiting on their first appointment?

I am! 10 weeks today, due July 31. My first appt isn't until Monday. Makes me so nervous to wait that long. I'm anxious to get that confirmation that there's still a healthy baby in there. Still having symptoms, no cramping, no bleeding, but after 2 miscarriages I can't shake that feeling that I might get disappointed. Is that the same for you?

It's not uncommon to have a first appointment around 10-12 weeks. I'm due August 1 but my first appt was at 6 weeks for an ultrasound, however I also have a loss history.

@tara1332 My first real appointment is January 13th, but I finally gave in and my doctor got me in for an early ultrasound last Monday. I am also Pgal and the anxiety was really getting to me. I hope Monday gets here quickly for you so that you can feel reassured about the health of your baby!

Due July 30. My first appointment was a week ago, and that one was rescheduled from the week before (doctor has pneumonia). Waiting was so stressful! Good luck to those of you who are still waiting!

Due July 29th. Had my first appointment 2 weeks ago. My next is in 2 weeks. My first, he did a Pap smear, and a U/S to confirm pregnancy. Blood work was supposed to be done, but lab tech ducked out early for lunch. I'll have that done at my next appointment

I'm due the 27th and my appt is today! I'm so nervous because I had some bleeding this morning, but hopefully all is okay. I'm just glad we finally made it to our first appointment!

July 26. I went Dec 19 but it was pointless. Next one is Jan 17 and that's probably the real first one. I'm hoping for more than an internal and being told my uterus is full.

I've had a bunch of issues and a previous loss, so I've been about a bazillion times, but my original appts were at 8 weeks and 12 weeks.

@cakebatter27 If they can't find it with the doppler, they will probably send you for an ultrasound. At least that is the standard practice here. Best of luck!

I'm due the 27 and have been for an exam and blood work. My first u/s is this coming Wednesday morning!! I called to try to move it to this week, hoping I wouldn't have to miss school for it. They were super polite and said they won't do it before a certain point so that they're sure I can see something. I hate waiting, but I know this is better than going and being disappointed if it's too early for a heartbeat or a good u/s!

Due 7/30 or 7/31 (I've heard both dates?!). We had our first u/s with fertility doc at 7wks. We upgrade to our ob on Tuesday! Can't wait for another ultrasound!

I'm due July 30, and my first appt was at 8 weeks or December 18. They did blood work, family history, urine analysis, Pap smear, and first ultrasound. I go back at 12 weeks.

Due July 29. My first appt was with a NP and mostly talking. They did a dating u/s and we were able to hear and see the HB. I go for my first OB appt on the 15!

Due July 21 and I've had two appointments so far which were totally useless. All I did was pee in a cup each time and get a pap. Next appt get to hear heartbeat - still nervous because no real check has been done - is there even a baby in there?!? Part of me is pissed because the first two appts I was still on an HSA so each one cost me $150! And the dr hasn't even touched my belly...

Due 12/26 and have seen my RE quite a bit. I am ready to graduate and move on to the baby catching doctor, instead of the baby making doctor!

I am due July 29th and first Appt. is on Monday, finally it feels like! I called today to see what to expect, hoping I'd get an U/S but, they said their office only does 1 at 20 weeks

She said they'd check for heartbeat Monday but I know my uterus is tilted so I feel the chances of hearing it are low. I have been anxiously awaiting this appointment to make sure everything is going well and I feel like it's not going to be very reassuring! I am hoping if they can't hear the heartbeat I can convince them to let me have an U/S. I'd pay for the piece of mind! It's my first so I'm just nervous to make sure everything is ok in there!

I'm due Aug 5.. we had a 8wk appointment & u/s to date the pregnancy (I ovulated later than I expected)... I go Jan 21 for an NT scan. I'm still nervous even though I've SEEN the heartbeat at the 8wk appointment.

I had an u/s at 7w1d b/c of my history, but have so far only seen my GP, but I've seen her several times.

Will see my new MFM Jan. 14th and I'll be almost 13w, then see my OB Jan. 27th, and I guess I'll be almost 15w then.

My OB's office doesn't apparently see new patients until 20w normally. Until then you just see your GP. Some people here never see an OB/midwife, and just have their GP take care of them.

Well, I guess I should feel lucky. I don't have normal cycles, so we thought I was due 12 July, but our first ultrasound (scheduled for what we thought was 9.5weeks) said that I was 8weeks and my revised due date is now 22 July. So I've been to two appointments - one super early where they did blood tests and counseling kind of, and the second where they did the peeing, vag exam, ultrasound. My next appointment is on Tuesday (12w) and I am *hoping* they do another u/s but I think they'll prob just do doppler for heartbeat.

I'm due July 31 and had my first appt today at 10 weeks. Will have a dating u/s in the next week to confirm the date but I think it should be accurate. Today was mostly talking, exam, and doppler for heartbeat. I have a doppler at home though so I have been listening in for two weeks now.

I'm due on the 26th or at least I've worked out that that's when I'll be due and my first appointment isn't until the last week of January! I'm so anxious! The waiting has definitely gotten easier, when I found out in November I thought waiting was going to destroy me!

I have gotten lucky and have heard the heart beats already and yet I still worry everyday about them and count the days to my next appointment

I'm due on the 30th, or so I think, but am some what of a worry wort and haven't posted anything yet because I don't have my first appointment until Monday and I guess just didn't want to jinx myself by posting before I guess I know for sure. But waiting for the appointing is proving to be like waiting for Christmas, it's taking forever! It is all just still overwhelming that I am actually pregnant and this is real.

I'm due Aug 3rd but will have a repeat csection the last week of July. I'm actually waiting on my second appt and second ultrasound on the 8th. Even though I have seen "Little Blip" and heard a heartbeat, I'm still nervous for that second one.

I'm due the 28th, due to the fact that I was seeing a fertility specialist (bc of 4 yrs of trying and 1 m/c) I have had 3 u/s at 6, 8 and 10 weeks. I don't think I could've made it without those! I'm now released to my ob/gyn and have an appt at 12 weeks on the 13th but they will just do Doppler then (u/s if can't find w Doppler).

*raises hand* Due the 30th and first appointment is next Tuesday. Super, super nervous and nervously excited all at the same time. Happy to have finally found an appointment with someone I think I like earlier. The other appointment I'd made wasn't until January 13th, but I'll cancel that one if I like this one.

I had my first appointment on the 30th of DEC. I couldn't wait any longer. I saw our LO for the first time. Quite a beautiful feeling.

Due July 29th and I've been in 3 times already! My LMP was 9/9/13 and we conceived on day 59 of my cycle (~11/5/13). When I first had the positive home test, I went in to the doctor ASAP because, although I was fairly sure of when I ovulated because of charting, I wasn't truly sure of how far along we were due to the huge time discrepancy from my LMP!

1st appointment with the OB was with a "not-so-great" US machine at the satellite clinic that I went to (and all we saw was a teeny gestational sac indicating we were pretty early), so she sent me to the main hospital a week and a half later to have a dating US done- 5 weeks 6 days and a heartbeat!

I just had my first midwife appointment on 12/23/13 (couldn't find heartbeat on doppler, but I was only 8 weeks 6 days) and I've got NT scan on 1/14/14… a little nervous for that, but can't wait to see the babe on US again and see how it has progressed!!

Is anyone else hating being at the end of the month? Especially when there is the 2nd tri club. I so want to be a part of. . . I have to go to Aug 2014 to feel better about how far along I am.

Due July 25th. We had bloodwork at 5 weeks and our first appointment and ultrasound at 9 weeks. Most surreal moment of our lives to see our baby move its little arm across its face. 4D ultrasounds are awesome. We have another ultrasound as part of genetic testing on 1/10 and our second OB appointment 1/17. Good luck for anyone still waiting! I was so nervous my first appointment!

EDD is July 24th. I had my OB intake appointment on 12/31. The nurse doing my intake is also an IVF grad so she had them squeeze in a quick ultrasound for me. My little nugget was dancing around in there. It was pretty awesome to see.

My next OB appointment is January 16th, followed by an appointment at the Maternal Fetal Med Center on the 17th for the cell free dna screening. After the constant monitoring with IVF, it's a bit weird to wait 2-3 weeks between appointments.

Yup, that's part of the reason I posted this. So us end of the monthers had a special place to gather, too. :-) We'll all get to the 2nd tri club eventually, but it is hard being behind. It gets even harder when it seems like everyone on the board already has their baby and you are still waiting.
