Barely pregnant

That is my doctor said when she saw my betas from today.  My number was 20 at 9dpo. 

I am going in on monday and need your T&Ps.  This is going to be the longest weekend :-(

    9 dpo is really early, check this chart out - I don't see 20 as being too bad.  https://www.betabase.info/showBasicChart.php?type=Single  Try not to worry too much.

    Don't stress!! 9dpo is really early & betas have to start somewhere!! I'm sure everything will be fine. But I'm sending you some doubling dust anyway! :)

    You are still really early so I would try not to worry so much.  If you look at this chart, you'll see that the median is only 16 at 10dpo.  Hope this comforts you a bit!

    Sending you tons of thoughts and prayers. I honestly think that's a pretty ridiculous thing for your doctor to say. It looks like you got your first HPT+ really early (9DPO, right?), so it would make sense that your numbers are lower than someone who's coming in at 14DPO. I hope your numbers rise beautifully and you have no cause for concern. ((Hugs))

    ugh. I hate that word "barely pregnant". That's what I heard as well and it's like "either I am or I'm not" I even told the nurse that. Don't focus on the initial number especially this early. You want doubling. Big doubling dust your way!

    I go in today for my 2nd betas but won't hear until Monday so I hear you about the long weekend. (((hugs)))

    I was just shocked when she said that to me.  Some of the doctors in this clinic are very insensitive.

    I was only a 26 at 13 DPO so I think you are in good shape. I can't believe they even ran a Beta at 9 DPO though.

    I want to say that mine was 27 at like 11 dpo... I wouldn't worry.

    I didn't realized you got a + at 9dpo, wow!  I only had betas drawn with DD, but I had something in the low 40's at 13dpo, so those sound great to me.

    My beta was 25 at 10DPO.  I just saw the heartbeat this week and everything is looking great.  I think 20 at 9DPO sounds perfect.

    See my beta's in sigi, I got the same thing when I had my beta's drawn and the nurse told me my results. They told me that b/c they don't 'count' being pregnant until it reaches 25. That is a good first number, sending you doubling dust!

    I kept asking the doctor if 20 was ok for 9 dpo, but was not saying anything. It was like she wasn't even listening to me.  I am looking to change doctors soon. I cannot wait to do that.

    Mine was 19 at 9dpo!! The dr said she was surprised I even got a +hpt. Look in my siggy.

    Hi! I never post here, but I remember you from TTCAL (I just lurked) and want to tell you that at 9 DPO my beta was Negative!  As in, the doctor called to say "Sorry, not pregnant."  (Which means my beta was 4 or less.)  Two days later at 11 DPO my beta was 28. 

    Anyway, I hope your weekend goes by quickly and you get lots of good news on Monday.  Just wanted you to know that at 9 DPO I was way "less pregnant" (haha) than you are now!

    9dpo is wicked early, and honestly 20 shows you had an early implanter. At 14dpo, I was in the 70's, so if you would have looked at my betas at 9dpo, they probably would have been 5.

    You are good. Try not to worry I did not even get a BFP until 13 DPO. You are super early.

    As pp mentioned, don't worry.  Mine were "extremely low" according to the dr. @ 10dpo (not sure of the exact number).  Doubling dust your way!

    I wouldn't be too worried about that!!  If I remember correctly, my first beta was only 27 and that was at either 10 or 11 dpo... (((hugs)))
