DD is sick today. Hopefully the throwing up is done.

DS1 *may* have a broken finger, not really sure, he won't let us do anything. So trip to the dr for him.

DS1 and DS2 cannot seem to ever stop fighting and it's driving me BSC!

I may have more later, but sheesh, this is all in less than 2 hours of being awake!

DS1 is having a rough time sleeping, he screams for mommy and daddy when it's time for bed. He doesn't have a cold, no new teeth, same crib, same room. The past month we've tried to sit with him, rock him, ibuprofen, and more but nothing has helped.

So we are doing CIO with check ins and staying outside the door so he can't see us but can hear us. I kept telling him it's time for bed and mommy loves him. Yesterday it was an hour+ crying for a 40 minute nap and only 30 minutes of crying at bed time. But damn does it tear my mommy/pregnant heart to hear him cry.

DH's cousin offered to send us baby clothes from her daughters with his grandmother when she came to visit for Christmas. We said that would be wonderful and were so grateful for the help and gesture from his cousin.

However - SIL took the bag of clothes from Grandma, scavenged through it, and decided she needed ALL the clothes. Texted DH yesterday to let him know.

@aessary03 going through a cluster feed/growth spurt period with Lily too and it sucks. If she wants to eat constantly I'd much prefer it happen during the day as opposed to between the hours of midnight and 5am.

I'm so over the holidays and family. H and I have been getting guilt trips nonstop since thanksgiving. H has a cousin that is a very toxic and unstable person that he chose to cut out of his life for countless reasons. No one in the family knows the full story or even cares to ask, yet they have no problem bitching at us telling us to suck it up and drop it because family is what matters. The same people that are bitching I have only met once and they have never met DD, so how important is it really? To top it off, H's aunt begged me for a belly pic & when I finally post one her comment is, "must be twins, at least....."

@jwp325 and @aessary03 I feel you! In the same boat over here too. Wah. She was up from 12-3am cluster feeding last night. I looked next to me at DH sleeping and felt very stabby.

It's 9:37 here and my OB isn't even in the office yet and my appointment was for 9 am. And if they do not do something about the itching soon I might not have skin by the time I have this baby.

One of my furbabies decided to bark once anhour and wake me up last night after I hadfinally gotten DD to sleep at 11:30. I finally just muzzled the dog.

I realized this weekend that the closes BabiesrUs store is 17 miles away. Its all good when you go buy baby supplies in bulk when you are expecting but when I need to run out for that one specific bottle or pacifier or some weird baby related item, I have to travel half an hour to get there and possibly in the snow??!!! That totally blows and I'm super cranky about it.

Thankfully, there is a target near by, but this one really does not carry much in baby items, I will just utilize it for diaper emergencies.

Thanks for letting me vent!

My ob is on vacation, so I have to see a different one. I want my regular doctor and am crabby about this. To make matters worse, this other ob is running 45 minutes behind, and my ultrasound was done early. So now it's just waiting, waiting, waiting. I know things happen, but this ob is notoriously running behind. Not to mention I only slept about 4 hours last night, and my carpal tunnel is acting up.

At least baby boy cooperated during our biophysical profile and is doing great!

@KaitiMac not flaming you for your sleep, but I am soooo jealous of you.

My bitching will be that my body will not allow me to sleep through the urge to pee. I get super excited when I check the clock and see that I actually slept a full 2-3 hrs w/o getting up to pee. Last night I woke up 4 times to pee and I went to bed at 10 and was up at 5:30. The nights that really suck are when DS wakes up screaming and I have to get up with him too. He has been having growing pains and the only thing that helps is massaging his legs, usually for about 15-20 mins. I'm not mad about that of course bc the little guy can't help it, we are just such a sad pair at 2 am. I would love to take naps to catch up on sleep but they are only an option on the weekend when DS is napping and if I sleep longer than an hr, than I can't sleep that night. My body is sooo gearing up for those late night feedings.

I'm going to kill DH. He was telling me about the time he went to a strip club when he was 18 which didn't bother me until he described the strippers. He said they were gross because they had stretch marks and csection scars...he basically described me, thanks a lot your sleeping on the couch the rest of your life.

DH had time off from work since the day before Christmas and so far got NOTHING done around the house off the list we discussed. He has played about gazzilion hours of computer games.

Found out that my boyfriend got so drunk at a work party last night that he was too hungover to go to work this morning. He was an hour away and stayed with his dad last night because of the bad weather...I didn't tell him to stay up there so he could get wasted. Glad to know that he would have been there if I had gone into labor. Not impressed.

I try not to moan about DH because he's awesome (for the most part). But......he really seems to have no concept of what a pregnant lady goes through, especially one who has been involved in two MVA's.

I've literally gotten to the stage where I can't stand up for more than 5 seconds without being in extreme pain. It feels slightly better to walk but after about half a block, I feel like I need to turn around again. Lying down is torture and the only position that I feel somewhat comfortable in (for a short period of time) is sitting up. I'm purposely not moaning about the pain because there's simply nothing to be done (other than having this baby) to fix it and I want to try and keep as "up" as possible.

Well....DH did something to his back on Friday and has been limping around the house the whole weekend, moaning about how much pain he's in, how sore he is etc. I managed to go out and get everything that we didn't yet have that we need for LO's arrival. All I asked him to do was put the crib together. Did he manage that? Noooo..... If I can manage to walk around a mall during boxing week to get everything we need for our child, you can damn-well get off your hiney and put the freakin' crib together!!!!

DH told his mother how far dilated I am and now I'm being harassed after every appointment if I've dilated anymore... First rule of marriage, much like fight club, we don't talk about our wives vaginas to our mothers! Plus, I'm sick and tired of explaining that a 2 is the size of a PENNY. It is NOT a sign that labor is imminent within a few days. It just means that that's that much less I have to dilate once I'm actually in labor.

My father was here over Christmas. First thing he said: "How much weight have you gained?" I also spent two days being called every variation of fat including in front of my husband. I'm sorry, did you forget that I invited you to stay with me and cooked all Christmas day (while you sat on your ass, on your phone, ignoring me) because my other siblings specifically asked that you NOT be there over the holidays? Last time I'll ever feel guilty for them not wanting to spend time with their father.

I just LOVE being criticized over everything (including how I do laundry) and then hearing my own father brag about all of the women he has picked up and then trash talking my mother for the TWO boyfriends she's had since their divorce a year ago. Fucking hypocrite.

On the bright side, Dad makes me very grateful for my husband. He may occasionally insert his foot in his mouth, but he has NEVER been malicious on purpose and without reason.

I'm cold today. Like really cold. The only place I can have internet is in our living room (since DH hasn't called to get our wireless fixed yet). Well, this room was added on by the previous owners, and they didn't insulate it. Technically it's a 3-season room, we try to use it year-round.

Anyway, I'm just bitchy that I'm cold for the 1st time this pregnancy. I've been sleeping out here partly because it is cooler than the rest of the house. I suppose strong winds out of the south (the side of the house this is on) bringing windchills of -10 and colder, really isn't helping.

At least we have snow.

I am so tired of painful BH and that they start to get regular and then randomly stop. I am WFH with my feet up and I'm experiencing them again! I just want to not be uncomfortable! While I want LO to cook a bit longer I am also ready for these damn things to either be real or go away! UGH!

Plus I'm mad - I've been in BH hell since Friday and DH informed me last night that he has to work 4 hours away today. Hope these BH don't turn real contractions anytime today; with my luck he'd miss the delivery.

I would like to bitch out the idiot who incorrectly told me I need to treck to the hospital to get pre rcs bloodwork done.

I get there only to find out the lab doesn't take my insurance and I need to go to quest that is 5 minutes from my house. Glad I got a sitter and dragged my 39 weeks pregnant ass on an hour and a half bus, subway and cab ride into the city for nothing.

I went to my 36 week OB appt this morning... and they didn't have it scheduled in the computer. I had the appt card that the front desk chick had written out for me, and this is the third time this has happened with an appt at this office. I ended up crying in frustration in front of a waiting room full of people, and finally the office manager came out and apologized and said they would take corrective action since this was the third offense. I don't know if that means she's getting fired, but I wouldn't be upset if it did!

I am so damn uncomfortable. This kid is somewhere between sideways and breech. I can feel his head when I try to sleep on my right side (I am sure he's fine that way but it freaks me out). I can only spend so much time sleeping on my left before that side starts to get sore. I also have wicked upper to mid back pain no matter what I do.

Sigh. I've always been big on letting them cook as long as they need but it's gonna be a long four weeks.

H told me today that his debit card expires tomorrow [our bank is in my hometown until we all move]. I can get him a new one and have it sent to him in Colorado, but I can't get a new PIN number for him - that has to be mailed. He got upset because he can't get cash until the PIN comes in. Well, dude, you should have said something about your debit card before today.

My nights have been terrible - acid reflux, nausea, and I just can't get comfortable. I have my concerns about being induced next week but am glad that baby's nearly here...I can't do this for another four weeks. I'm a big baby.

New vent - lady from work who processes our leave did mine wrong. She has me listed as just a leave of absence and that I get unpaid leave... ummm...WTF? I get paid leave. Super fun. Now I get to email about a dozen people to get this shit fixed by time my leave starts.

@OSUWifey09 - the bank didn't send a card already? Ours sends one out like a month before the expiration date, and then you have to call the number to activate it, and then you get a PIN mailed to you. But you can also call the customer service and set up the PIN that way.

This is my second time in L&D and my third doctor's appointment in 5 days and still nothing!! Because my BP has been borderline high, they keep sending me home, even though I have had major swelling in my feet, hands, and face, and a headache for 6 days with blurred vision. Good god! Let's do this already!! I'm really hoping they just keep me!!

LO has been head down for 6weeks, but at today's appointment (just 1 day shy of 37wks) I have been informed that baby is now transverse and 'not engaged'.

I am irrationally feeling really upset about this; like a pregnant failure.

@goldenB - My DS2 was head down and engaged, even at my 39w5d appointment to check for inducing the next day. Went in the next morning and found he was transverse. At 39w6d. This one isn't staying in 1 position for a whole day. Our babies are crazy!

@mrsgraham06 - did your DS2 eventually move back down into the head down position? From Dr Google I've learned that perhaps my baby is too big and I may require a c-section if baby isn't engaged this late in the game...

@monkeybutt61612 Yep, they understood this was their fault and thankfully my doc was able to get me in. Tacked on about an hour of wait time though. If I hadn't seen the doc, and had to go back another day, I would have been way, way more pissed. This, on top of the fact that I just found out they f'd up my FMLA paperwork and I have to resubmit. Their admin is abhorrent.
