My son is sick with pink eye and now after researching seems to be viral pink eye which of course takes longer to go away. On top of that he is snotty and has been running fevers on and off for two days and of course not sleeping at night. I want my healthy kid back because he seems so miserable and I am exhausted.

@goldenB - My DS2 was head down and engaged, even at my 39w5d appointment to check for inducing the next day. Went in the next morning and found he was transverse. At 39w6d. This one isn't staying in 1 position for a whole day. Our babies are crazy!

@mrsgraham06 - did your DS2 eventually move back down into the head down position? From Dr Google I've learned that perhaps my baby is too big and I may require a c-section if baby isn't engaged this late in the game...

Oh, sorry, I should have said that part of it. DS2, I had gone in to be induced when we discovered he was transverse. My OB did an external version and started pitocin right away. He stayed head-down and I delivered vaginally. He was 9lb 6oz and 23 inches. Dr. Google can be evil, but probably not as bad as WebMD.

I had decided to have a night at home for NYE and casually invited family, fully intending of getting publix made food just to have something. Well my aunts said no you should rest from cooking instead come to our house which is over an hour away. Really people? I'm not going anywhere!

My midwife is really, really nice and this wasn't all that mean - I was just grumpy as eff at my appointment.  It went well and at the end of it she said "Well, either have that baby or we'll see you next week."  Yeah...I'll get right on that!
