Tonight while at our family Christmas party, I started having abdominal cramping, as well as really bad lower back pain. When I went to the bathroom and wiped, I had pink/red blood on the toilet paper. I'm 9 weeks today. Really afraid I'm losing our sweet peanut. I've put in a call to the on-call doc, and now I'm sitting, relaxing (trying to) and praying. Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. I'm trying not to freak out, especially with family all around
Your in my thoughts. I would've already went straight to the emergency room.
It wasn't enough for me to panic and run to the ER. The on call doc assured me there was nothing they'd do for me there that I couldn't do at home....for free.
Oh sending you prayers RIGHT NOW!!!! My sister in law just had the same thing happen and went in to get checked. Baby is perfectly fine. She's 10 weeks. Keep us updated.
***UPDATE*** well, so far, so good. I haven't actually noticed any more pink/red. And, by the grace of God (and all the prayers sent up) my back stopped hurting. I'm hoping I just overreacted. I've read so many sad stories of loss, sometimes the worry and anxiety of the possibility consumes me. At any rate, I'm grateful that He listened to our prayers and that I started feeling better. I still plan on taking it easy for a few days (no lifting, no sex, etc) as the doctor ordered when I called last night. Thank you all for your well wishes. It's very much appreciated. Merry Christmas!
So happy to hear this!! I had been worried about you. Meant to tell you that sometimes all it takes for me is to sit down and drink a bottle of water. I have had a lot more intense cramps and back pains this go around, but dr said so far everything looks normal. Try not to worry and stay well hydrated!
I was having spotting between weeks 6-8. Thankfully its stopped, it was scary regardless of how much or how little there was. Don't be surprised if you see brown in a day or so, just means its old blood.
Thank God!!!! I'll continue to pray for you and your little peanut . Take it easy, out those pregnant feet up and drink lots of water. Merry Christmas!
