I know the ladies on this board don't like unique spellings, however, my little one will be Olivia but spelled Aliviah Grace. My SO and I both love it and that's all that matters.
Still deciding...but we like Ella Kathryn (Ellie), Caroline Lee, and Addison June (Addie) or something else if we come across something we like better! It's so hard!

I know a family that did all A names, and one of them named her daughter Alivia. I am not a fan of names spelled incorrectly, but I always liked that one.
Our baby girl will be Avadelle Grace, nn Ava. Both are family names, and I love the idea of having my daughter named after a woman who was quite possibly the most amazing person I've ever met in my life. If she becomes even half the woman that my great aunt was I'll consider my parenting successful!
We have an Eleanor Ruth. We are TG and not decided on a girl name yet, but our front runners are Alice and Catherine. I also love Beatrice but it doesn't work with our last name. I also like Joesphine but DH nixed it.

@talitha712 - I have used/am using 3 of the 6 names you listed. . I like your style!

This is a case were I wouldn't even be able to figure out that it's supposed to be pronounced like Olivia. I get that you and SO love it, but it also matters that your daughter will have to deal with people misspelling and mispronouncing it her whole life. Genuine question (not intending to be snarky), but does that not bother you at all?

I don't see why any one wouldn't be able to sound it out. There are lot of names out that even with the correct spelling can be mispronounced. I personally don't like the name with the O sound at the begining I like it with the A sound. That is my personal preference. While I appericate your opinion and respect your right to it, I still stand by my spelling.
Our little girl will be Sophia Darlinda. I love the name Sophia, but was going to choose another name since it's the number one name on a list of baby names. It's still my fab name though! Darlinda was my grandma's first name, so that's to honor her.
Our girls name will be Brooklyn Anne or Brooklynn Anne (nickname Brooke). We are considering the two n's because my mom's middle name is Lynn. We are having a hard time deciding on the spelling, so any thoughts are welcome! Our second name was Macie Kathleen.
Our daughter will be named Rachel, and still working on a middle name. I'm surprised its not on this thread even once! Middle name options are possibly Jane, May, Marie...? Help?!
We are naming our baby girl Ryann ( pronounced Ryan) we are naming her in honor of my cousin who died in Iraq two years ago. We haven't come up with a deff MN yet still working it out
I love that there are a few of you using Aubrey. That is my name and I absolutely love it and everyone always tells me how beautiful it is. Growing up it wasnt very popular and I liked that. I hope your daughters love their name as much as I do. I was told that it's a male's name but I find it very feminine.
We are doing two middle names because that's what I have. We are going with Hazel Leana Christina. Hazel we just like and knew that was our name pretty much in week one of pregnancy. Leana is my aunts name and one of my middle names, and Christina is my sister in laws name.

Totally agree that every parent gets to choose--but can't deny that I hate it for the kids who have to live with misspelled names.
