I let Finn suck frosting off my finger last night. He likes that much more than any veggies that he's tried to far.
Every time I eat ice cream, LO whines to have a taste. I let him have a tiny bit every once in a while. I'm a terrible mother.
Isaac has had bites of ice cream, frosting, shepherds pie, crackers, yogurt and lots of fruits and veggies. You are not a bad mother. At all. Also I'm loving the new siggy and avatar!
Re: Purees get shoved into the back of the baby's mouth, and with BLW, the food stays in the front of the mouth until swallowed.
I don't think that was meant as PARENTS shove food in the back of the mouth. Or maybe it was, but my experience with purees is that the BABY shoves the purée back, kinda slurp-sucking it down their throat. This isn't bad or problematic (to me any way), it's just mechanically different from how babies manipulate solid foods.
My uo...can we stop with the non confession confessions? Like...my lo slept thru the night and I checked on them every 10 minutessss! Come on, u slept through the night too. It's okay.
Well that was a fascinating 15 pages of reading. Thank you ladies, you saved me from watching the Jim Tressel documentary DH was watching.
My FFFC: ESPN had an ad for a Tonya Harding documentary, The Price of Gold, which will air in January. I'm already set to program my tivo. I'm going to watch the hell out of that. This Oregonian cannot get enough TH drama.
and for my FFFC: I totally forgot to buy a gift for our friends kid so 15 minutes before we leave DH was all shit!!! we don't have a gift. I grabbed one of my nephews presents and put a new label on it. Whoops!
@CDumovich, I get that you were trying to participate more, but when you post so many threads when you're new to a group (and you are new again), it comes across as trying too hard.
Like I said, lay low for a day or two and then ease your way back in by participating in the threads others post. Not just the fun ones, but the tough ones where they need support. You can redeem yourself; just don't try so hard.
Mmmmmmm love bakers square pie! Have fun tomorrow!
