it is Friday right??? hooray!!

mine:

I haven't ever seen Elf.

I have no clue what Duck Dynasty is and with all the current controversy over something going on with them I still can't be bothered to look it up.

I pretended to be asleep this am when LO woke so hubby took her downstairs for an hour and a half so as not to disturb me. I am the lightest sleeper ever, and sleep through nothing lol.

    Either I put the diaper on wrong or LO peed a copious amount, but her crib was wet this am. Not sure when it happened but she STTN. I feel like an awful mother, but she obviously didn't care.

    1. We were suppose to have company over yesterday for my oldest daughters 13th birthday. I cleaned the house all day to make sure it looked nice and completely forgot about the same daughters orchestra concert at her school. I had her ask her friend to pick her up & take her. In my defense, the teacher changed the date and I completely spaced it. Our company never ended up showing up and I felt bad I didn't get to go.

    2. All the clean laundry that was on the couch when I cleaned yesterday, got thrown on our bed and the door shut. All that same laundry is back the couch as of last night so we could go to bed.

    MH gained some weight over the past year because he went from a very physical job to sitting all day at a different one. I'm secretly happy because now I'm not the only one depressed by their body. We need to get on track pronto!

    I totally should've gbck (knot) when I first started. I was probably one of the most teased people on the boards (I posted on "not engaged yet" and always fought back), but I stuck it out. For probably a year, people thought I was a reg posing as a troll. This was 8 years ago. Through TK and TN, I've made some really great friends IRL.

    I also secretly hope for a gay child. Mostly to piss off my biggot IL's. I'll love my child regardless, I just want to see their reaction bc I imagine they'll finally change their ways....and if not, i can cut them off!!!

    I also don't watch duck dynasty, that prophets one, walking dead...or anything along those lines.

    FFFC:  I'm a little upset that my "MIL" (not married, but whatever) got us a gift for Xmas.  This isn't coming from an ungrateful place.  Her H has just beat cancer and they have a lot of medical bills.  We gave them money and bought Thanksgiving (so to speak) so they could focus their financials on paying their bills (not just medical).  His mom was crying to us that she can't even afford rent.  I just think that I expected (shame on me) nothing from her and I would have understood that better because of how she expressed her struggles.

    My husband is being super secretive about what he bought me for Christmas. I already know what it is. I accidentally saw in his email. And he's super proud of it, but I absolutely hate it. He's the worst gift giver ever. It makes me feel bad for him sometimes.

    It's cute how you worded this but seriously?  Say you did have an unexpected death...you would never want your H to connect with another person (you know, what humans need to thrive)?  Or flip it around..what if it were he that died and you were left alone? It doesn't mean he would ever forget you and this is blunt but...you'd be dead anyway.
