Around 2:30 in the morning I got out of bed thinking I needed to pee. Got into the bathroom and sat down and whoosh! Luckily it wasn't all over the place

I ran back in the bedroom and threw back the covers to make sure it hadn't broken in bed. DH thought the dog peed on the bed until I said "i think my water broke". His first words to me were "do I have time to take a shower?"

Also I was not prepared for the constant leaking afterwards. I rode to the hospital with a towel between my legs. Classy

I was admitted to the hospital in the evening before the morning of my scheduled induction at 40w 5d. They put one Cervidal behind my cervix at about 10pm and told me to try to sleep. 12:37am, I felt an enormous amount of pressure and then a gush. I called the nurse to come in to help me and when I got out of bed it was like a gallon jug being dumped out of me onto the floor...Glug Glug Glug. Then the contractions came fast and furious! I'm actually glad I was already in the hospital bc it was a mess!

They broke mine at the hospital. I was admitted when I had protein and liver enzymes in my urine and was slightly dehydrated. I was in early labor, but progressing realllllllllllllly slowly.

I was pretty certain that I had been leaking...told the doc who was covering my doc while he was on vacation and they did a test in the office during my visit. It came back negative (this was a Thursday)...I was still pretty certain I was leaking because of how many times I was changing underwear throughout the day. By Saturday morning, about an hour after getting up, I was getting up from the couch and felt a small (tiny) gush...again, not long after after standing up again I felt it again. Went to the bathroom and could see a tiny bit of discoloration on my panty liner. Called the on call doc (again, my doc was on vacation, but different doc than who I saw the Thursday before)...said to come in and they tested my fluid and it was positive...I was definitely leaking.

During labor I had a pocket of fluid that they broke and the gushing didn't stop for a long time...I had so much fluid and they had to change my bed a few times.

They broke it in the hospital for me on day 4 of being induced. (at 38 weeks for pre-e)

I'm not a STM but I remember when my mom had my sister when I was in high school. She was out getting us all Chinese food and her water broke while waiting in line. X_X

I woke up around 1:30 am to go to the bathroom and while peeing it broke! Big gush and every time I tried to stand up more kept coming out. I tried using the big pads I bought for after having the baby but they just didn't hold up. I had to sit on the toilet while dh ran frantically around the house getting our stuff together. Finally just wrapped a towel around me and sat on a trash bag dh put on the car seat, totally awkward walking into the hospital!

In bed about & hr after I went to sleep. I felt it but nothing came out. Then when dh came to bed I thought it might be a good time to use the bathroom again so as soon as I flexed it gushed out. Lol

My water broke while I was induced on the hospital bed. I told DH (to warn him) that I felt like I needed to fart to which he replied, "Go for it, babe" and BAM! I swear there was a pop and my water broke. There was so.much!

My water broke in the kitchen and I hobbled to the bathroom. I was in pretty active labor by then though, had been having contraptions all morning. Things got super intense once it broke, we hoofed it to the hospital and she was born 2 hours later.

I was in labor at the hospital in the tub. The nurses had just checked me and I was 8 cm. One of the next contractions I heard the "balloon popping" noise but couldn't feel any fluid coming out since I was in a bathtub. They checked again and confirmed that it was my water that broke. Right after that they took me out of the tub to the bed and I started pushing 5 minutes later. Baby came 15- 20 minutes after that.

In bed right after I had picked my DH, sister and brother in law up from a party. I rolled over and gush all over the bed. DH looks at me and says "Did you just pee the bed." Then I hobble into the guest room to tell sis that I'm in labor to which she replies in her drunken slur "nah, go back to bed." Gotta live family. Ten hours later and surrounded by my now sober family my handsome son was born.
