    Thanks @calikat80 and @subliminalrabbit. I thought the tongue thrust reflex would have been gone by 6 months. At least he's not the only one refusing solids!

    Just finished up our Christmas cards. Hand addressed every one of them. Stinks. But I also did this during work. Half of my day is my students watching the Crucible. We just finished studying it.

    I wouldn't be surprised. My LO is becoming quite the parrot. She's doing things all the time that we are doing if you have consistently been making the sign it's definitely possible.

    My husband has a tendency to just not say things.  Not tell me he stopped by a friends house before coming home from work for example.  Nothing that is causing me to question his faithfulness to me.  I trust my husband in that regard. But his mentality is if I don't ask he's not lying he's just not saying anything. So maybe asking is best.  But like PP have said I would wait until after the holidays. Just in case it's a fight or a response you don't want to hear.  Enjoy the holidays with your LO.

    Ohio here. Same snow pattern as you. Last two years basically nothing. This year has be nervous already. I'm a school teacher too. We have already used 2 of our 5 allotted days for the whole school year. It's going to be a short summer making up our days I can tell.

    OMG there is ONLY a week left. I'm freaking out about not having enough time.  Sorry your LO's are out of sorts. I can only imagine...

    I have my moments where this seriously crosses my mind.  Last night my husband leans over to me all seductive like and says, "hey let's give Abigail a brother." And the reality of him being on that page (even jokingly) shocked me and scared me straight. lol. (We broke our rut by the way). I really do know that I want to wait until after summer, but after that we will be actively trying again for a brother....or sister. ;)

    Santa's stuff was always wrapped different in my house. There were fancy name tags on them though. But my brother and I had our own sides of the tree. All presents on one side were mine.  All on the other were his.  Everything in the front middle were for my parents.

    I would say probably. That gag reflex is one of the signs that they aren't ready. My little one spits some out, but she is definitely leaning into the spoon trying to get it off. More of it stays in her mouth than comes out. She is totally into us eating though. She's watching and learning and I think she's getting it. I don't think it would hurt to keep trying to get her used to it though. But I wouldn't get upset if she doesn't take it.

    I am crying at the drop of a hat this week. It is really effing annoying. Too little pumped milk and almost no stash, 10 minute cry. DH says something slightly insensitive, cry and go wrap presents at other end of the house. Thinking about traveling and no sleep, cry. I need to go watch Friends and some of those guilty pleasure movies.
