If you refer to the entire context of my statement, I was ALWAYS referring to more than one person so I am sorry at the end I did say "your" where I should have said they.
And no normally I don't deal with people on here but yes I moved to the UK 7 months ago and being pregnant the health care IS ALL NEW to me and its one of my main worries. And I was just responding to someones thought on which I agreed on and it made me a little more satisfied? I don't mind if others don't agree , all Im saying is its kind of mean the way some people disagree. I am not mad at americans btw. I like how you put words in peoples mouth but I don't think anyone is mad at Americans?
Or maybe I should have said they are allowed to be bitchy... because you have used the word "bitchy" before so maybe that's more appropriate for you?
That has nothing to do with where you live.
There are a bunch of women on these boards that complain about not getting an early scan because their doctors do not seem it necessary. Your geographical whining is really ridiculous.
And why is it that whiners and white knights who cry about "being mean" are the first ones to start cussing and calling names?

But I do have to say, your healthcare system is ten times better what ours is. If you want to complain about not having an early ultrasound, I'll gladly give you my early ultrasound in exchange for your healthcare system. Have fun with my $400/month premiums that still leave me with thousands owed at the end!

SA normal. Genetic testing normal. Hormonal testing normal.
HSG 6/30/14 - found blocked left tube and 2 'bubbles' on uterine wall.
Hysteroscopy/Lap--8/4/14 - Tubes unblocked. Polyps removed from uterine wall. Septum removed.
9/30/14--Off the bench! Unmedicated TI through December 2014
BFP 12/14/14!!! Beta #1, 12/16: 990 Beta #2, 12/18: Over 2000! Beta #3, 12/22: over 8000!
U/S #1, 12/23: gestational sac, possible heartbeat
U/S #2, 12/30: HEARTBEAT! 128bpm, measuring right on at 7w EDD: 8/19/2015
U/S #3, 1/9: BPM in the 180s, IT'S HAPPENING!!!
In the US, early scans are given when
1) You are unsure when you conceived, and the pregnancy needs to be dated.
2) You are high risk due to previous losses.
3) You present with spotting/cramping/bleeding and are worried of a miscarriage or threatened miscarriage.
4) On occassion with pain and very high HCG levels to rule out an ectopic pregnancy.
That's basically it. A few providers may routinely do early scans, but they are few and far inbetween. And not everyone here has had an early scan. And not everyone in the US has had an early scan.
I'm sorry you're disappointed, but enough is enough.
You've been told already that in the U.S. an uncomplicated pregnancy in a mother with no loss history, and no questions about dating, that the standard is one U/S at 20 weeks. This is the case for me personally as well.
Just because you see people talking about all of their early scans doesn't mean that they are the majority - because they aren't. Of course you don't see people like me jumping into discussions about U/S experiences because I have nothing to share! My lack of participation in online discussions and posting of Youtube videos doesn't mean I'm not an American mom.
You're just misinformed and taking it out on everyone here. I don't get an U/S until 20 weeks and you don't see me whining to random internet strangers about it... I accepted it, and I am grateful that I am not having complications that would necessitate having an earlier scan. There are much more important things to worry about than getting a medically unnecessary early U/S.

Not that you will listen at this point, but if you would have come to this board and posed the question something like this:
"I am from the UK, and it seems through this board, that many ladies get early ultrasounds. Is that the norm in the US? I ask because here in the UK, we do not get early scans, so I was curious about it."
That would have been taken much better, provided you didn't argue with everyone's responses when we told you it was not "all Americans" who got them. And then proceed to offend everyone by calling us nasty vultures.
If you ever happen to visit the US, I would leave the arrogrant attitude in the UK as it will not get you very far on an American chat board or on the soil.
