@34blondie I think it's really easy to displace your anger at your husband when the baby stresses you out. MH has come to accept it and will just hold me while I tell him what a POS he is...we've been there girl, shake it off. First year is about survival of the baby and your relationship
@34blondie I'm sorry your h was being a jerk. everyone should care about baby's safety. My h is kinda the same way, but over other issues (like watching tv and letting her cry)... Men!! Anyway, hugs to you and hope things smoothe out soon so you can relax!
@34blondie I'm sorry mama. I know my husband gets defensive over the littlest shit, so these types of little arguments tend to happen over he dumbest stuff. I'm sure he was stressed out, and it's good he apologized. Hugs!
@fordfalcor now you have me curious because h and I have only had painless sex 1x... Every other time it hurt too much to uhh finish. Lol ... anyway sorry about your frankengina.
DS has started messing around with his bottle when he's eating, but won't let me feed him without clenching my fingers. He holds his own bottle, and I think he likes that he can take it out of his mouth, wave it around and shake it. This makes for long feedings lol.
@tttwalters Thanks for the call out I actually read all of the words! Things have been all crazy here. H got a promotion, yay! 2 of 3 kids are sick, boo. I think I just need to accept that with 3, I may just have one sick at all times. Lame. Max had his 6 month well yesterday and found out he has 4 teeth coming in. 2 bottom and 2 top. That mixed with shots... be prepared for me to be a post whore today because I will probably be mobile bumping under a baby most of the day.
@34blondie I have similar arguments with DH about the car seats on a regular basis. I let him buckle in our 2 year old, get in the passenger seat and look back to find the strap halfway down her shoulder. He gets defensive but I don't care bc the kids' safety comes first! Hope you have a better day and can get some rest

Again... 45 minutes of time unaccounted for after work. I called his store at around 7pm, the guy told me h clocked out at 6:40pm. It takes 30 minutes to get home. He got home at 8:15pm. I gave him 20 minutes to clean off his car and warm it up...asked how the roads were on the drive home and he said they were great,.. its not rush hour,... what else is happening in those extra 45 minutes?! I wanted to ask straight up but h is mad at me for saying things need to be more 50/50 around here and he was very obviously not speaking to me yesterday, except to respond to me asking how traffic was... sorry to keep bringing this up. I just don't know how to broach the subject with h without causing a big fight.
Murphie's Deep Thoughts: Sometimes I wonder what would happen if I hooked myself up to the pump and just let it go for a few hours. You know - like in the middle of the night if I just went back to sleep while I pumped. I'd probably need bigger bottles...hmmm.
@pinkpuffyheart2 I still say that he may be driving home his coworker after you asked him not to. If you want i have a psycho suggestion?? Lol Check the cars mileage?? :-?? Sorry that youre still dealing with this!
He changed jobs so he doesn't work with that guy anymore. I could probably never get away with checking his mileage because of all ofour curtainless windows.
Can all you awesome ladies cross your fingers for my momma? She lost her job in April and has been searching day and night for a job ever since. She has a 2nd interview today with the Red Cross. She really needs this job so it would be awesome if you all could send good juju her way today! Thank you
Just put Grayson in his crib for a nap. I stood there and patted his butt until his eyes closed...here's to hoping he takes his regular hour long nap in there! Transitioning to the crib sucks...
They are switching Cal to a different room at daycare... I can't stop obsessing about it. I text the teacher he has now multiple times a day to check on him and I don't think the other teacher is really like that. 8 of the kids in his room are going and he isn't the youngest to switch, but I'm just mulling it over and over in my brain!
It will be so good. As your LO gets older the teachers get more formal unfortunately. But be ready for a development explosion with him being around all those bigger kids
Here's my holiday shopping problem every year. I get 95% done by Thanksgiving. Then I get to the hard people and end up finishing last minute.
I got a major haircut on Saturday (8+"). Boss A and I were at meetings all day yesterday. He didn't notice or say anything. Back in the office today and Boss B didn't notice either. Pooh.
Today is the kind of snowy day I wish I had a fireplace so A and I could hang out and watch a pretty fire while snuggling. Except I'm at work, she's at DCP, and we don't have a fireplace anyway. Boo.

So, I decide to have a can of tuna for lunch trying to keep up with all the health stuff, and I actually like tuna. Upon draining it I realized I bought the kind packed in vegetable oil instead of water. Gross. At that point I figured the diet was a bust, so I just threw a crap ton of pizza rolls in the oven. I actually worked out today, so I feel like that balances it out.
FFTC - maybe I am too lax on our daycare providers but I have never called/texted/stopped by to check on Lilly while she's there. I think I did email once when she was at her last DCP but that was it. Where she is now, the provider cared for the City Commissioner's kids, kids that have gone on to be business owners, and kids that started at Lilly's age and now are preteens. I am not really concerned.
I've only called in when I've had reason to be concerned that doesn't relate to them- like day 1 back when she was refusing bottles from Hubs... or the day last week when she hadn't had a wet or dirty diaper in 14 hours by drop off and I wanted to make sure she wasn't all stopped up. I think it's a great thing when you trust the place you place your kid!

@pinkpuffyheart2 Who is he to get mad at you for saying it needs to be equal?! Parenting as a couple IS EQUAL. That is so dumb, and if I were you I would put your foot down and find out why the hell he has been acting so shady.
@riansmommie Yeah I can understand if she was teasing, but I would never EXPECT mh's job to keep him around if he needed to deploy or something. I'm sure they can help out if possible, but I would NEVER ask his boss myself. That's just asking to get mh in trouble.
@cindyrelluh right!? When we found out I was pregnant with this one my hubby went as asked his Chief If he was in rotation to deploy again in the next year and if he was he was volunteering to go early. Thankfully he isn't except for a few short (less than a month) deployments here and there. Yay for my Hubby having a higher chance of getting to be there for this birth!
The job that my husband is in currently is non-deploying, so luckily I don't have to worry about that until we leave here in a few years. The next place we are trying to go is highly deloyable, so we will see.
That's awesome, I'm hoping at some point in my hubby's carreer he will choose shore duty, but as it stands right now we are getting ready to do back to back sea duties (shoot me now!). Only good thing about back to back means extra money each month so I won't complain too much.
Kay Jewelers is the WORST company ever. I recommend never buying from them. They resized my white gold wedding ring with sterling silver! I am allergic to sterling silver, so I kept wondering why my hand was breaking out, until recently the part that was resized turned black and broke!! A $4k ring. I am LIVID.

@fordfalcor sorry about your vajayjay! If it is any consolation, my clitoris and labias were all torn so badly I needed a plastic surgeon to fix me and a mere 4 months later everything is working the way it should again! So even if there is really something awry they can do amazing things if it's the right surgeon !

From my new BMB not really exciting I'm just shocked that this woman had the nerves to ask the question she did.

DS born 6/2013
our DCP doesn't allow cell phones in the care rooms- so I can't text her teachers.
