Re: TTGP IF CHECK IN
Do you have a diagnosis? If so; what is it? Nope
Are you currently doing any testing or treatment? Going to see my RE tomorrow. Nervous as Hell!!
Any updates? Cd1 is today, I had a 28 day cycle. It just amazes me that I'm that my periods are that damn predictable even after a mc, I don't venture off my 28 day cycle.
QOTW: Are you the kind of person who wants to be the big fish in a little pond or the little fish in the big pond?
Definitely little fish in a big pond, I don't like attention drawn to me.
Team Purple!!!!
Diagnosis: pcos
Treatments/tests: right now we are trying to do femara cycles.
Updates: went to my RE on Wednesday. My cyst went from 4cm to 1.6 with the birth control. They want me to come back on on CD3 to see if there is anymore progress. I am trying really hard not to think about but this wait is well it's something!
QTOW: I think I would like to be the little fish in a big pond. More space to spread out and explore!

How long have you been trying to conceive? A year and ten months NP, but only recently have we really focused on why it hasn't happened and what is going on.
Do you have a diagnosis? If so; what is it? No
Are you currently doing any testing or treatment? No, we have our first appointment with an RE on 12/30 (I think somewhere else I mistakenly said 12/20, but it's 12/30). I'm very nervous, my GYN swears up and down that "nothing's wrong" but wth does he know - I've had a couple of smaller cysts (two) in the past, but was never told that this was directly an issue.
Any updates? Hoping to see a temp rise later this week, hoping and praying - my first cycle charting.
QOTW: Are you the kind of person who wants to be the big fish in a little pond or the little fish in the big pond? Little fish in the big pond.

IF DX 1/8/14: Tubal Issues
How long have you been trying to conceive? 22 Months
Do you have a diagnosis? If so; what is it? Male Factor Infertility
Are you currently doing any testing or treatment? Not yet, we will see the RE in March if our natural plan doesn't work out.
Any updates? Last week was not so fun. I had a huge breakdown and SO got the majority of it. I told him I am tired of doing this alone and holding the weight of infertility on my shoulders alone. I explained that if I was the problem I would do anything and everything in my power to fix the problem. Trying to have a family is a deal breaker for me and he is going to have to step up and play a more active roll in this whole thing.
For me that was huge. I am a people pleaser and never want to say anything to make someone I love feel uncomfortable or pressured. However, I have realized through this struggle I put others needs ahead of my own far to often and make myself misrable in the process.
I think we are getting back to a good place now and he understands where I am at with the baby and the relationship.
I am going to go back to temping and OPKs for the next few months and he is going to take some vitamins recommended by the urologist. If we are not successful by March we are going to visit the one and only RE in the area. He has some mixed reviews, so we will see.
QOTW: Are you the kind of person who wants to be the big fish in a little pond or the little fish in the big pond?
I like to make myself known but I also enjoy observing others. So I guess it really depends on the situation.
I have two ponds though if that matters...........

It's a new patient appt, I have no clue what to expect. I need to learn more about all this stuff. I read everyone's post and it's all Greek to me.
AFM - Complete break this cycle. It's refreshing. We'll be back at it after the holidays
QOTD - Can I say a big fish in a big pond? I've always been overly ambitious.
GL @gonzol!
GL with your RE appointment @Pintobean39!

Sorry that your ovaries are being lazy @jaytee16!

@KrissyLeighN GL with your RE appointment!
@katiewest yay for a good HSG, FX that your blood work is good too!
@FoxiePM sorry about the breakdown.
AFM- I started BCP for IVF #3 Saturday and have a SHG scheduled for Thursday. The holidays are really hard this year coming off IVF #2 in October and our c/p in November. I am trying hard to be happy (I usually love this time of year), but I'm really not and I feel like a major Scrooge. I hope I can keep powering through the holidays. I officially start my IVF cycle on 1/1 (with lupron and steroids, Happy New Year to me!) and I am ready for a new cycle and a new year.
QOTW: I think big fish in a small pond.

Nothing new for me. We had our IVF consult last week and it went well. If I'm not pregnant by the end of next month, I'll start BCPs to prep for IVF. Right now I'm 4 dpo and just trying to forget everything and enjoy the holidays as much as possible.
QOTW: I guess big fish usually, but sometimes I'm lazy and it's nice to sit back and be a little fish.
@Pintobean39: good luck with your appt tomorrow
@beckynsean11: FX that you have a good response!
@jaytee16: that blows. I hope just have a slow response and good timing!
@Terrapantz: Yay for a shrinking cyst! Hope it continues!
@AmyC925: I'm sorry. Hope the increased Clomid works!
@KrissyLeighN: It's normal to be nervous. I think a lot of us have felt a sense of calm once we met with the RE - at least that was my experience. Hope that happens for you too.
@MeatandBandP: Sorry about IUI #1, but FX for IUI #2. I'm really interested in seeing how your Femara cycle goes. That's our next step.
@katiewest: Congrats on the good HSG!
@FoxiePM: I'm glad you were able to have that talk. I hope your H gets more involved.
@tigger99: Everything crossed for your FET!!!
@EmeJay: Enjoy your break cycle! I definitely enjoyed mine... Right up until CD45 and no clue what was going on!
@Twinkie0612: I think it's awesome that you're starting your cycle on 1/1. Maybe it's a sign - fresh start, new beginnings!
AFM: Well, you can see how I've been doing in the Monday Bitchfest. Those ovulation tests should be marked more clearly so that I don't go thinking that I have a faint line on a HPT. Understatement of the year: That was a let down.
CD53 of the "We Were On A Break" cycle. Trying to decide if we're going to continue the break til Spring or start back with treatments in January. Originally, H wanted the break, now he's got a bit of baby fever and thinks we should meet with the RE in Jan to discuss what to do since the Clomid didn't work.
QOTW: Little fish in a big pond for most things because I like to feel like I'm part of something big. Big fish in a little pond at work because I don't like feeling overwhelmed!
April 2013: Femara + Trigger + IUI = ???
@pintobean39 Good luck!
@mmb248 Thank you for the reassurance, it's two weeks away but that doesn't change things. And sorry about the bfn/positive opk, I saw that in bitchfest :-(

AFM, I went in Thursday for my CD3 appt and found out I have a huge cyst so we are benched this cycle and the RE put me on BCPs. It was pretty devastating, especially when my best friend felt that it was suddenly the time to tell me she was 9 weeks pregnant. *sigh* I'm trying to make the most out of being on the bench - had some caffeine, and a margarita and even cheated on my wheaten/gluten free diet a little bit!
QOTW - I like to be in the middle...I like being recognized, but I definitely don't want to be the center of attention all the time.

Cycle #21 - Femara, MORE Femara, Ovidrel and a Christmas IUI = BFN
Team Purple!!!!
We have been trying since July 2012. Last week I had my CD3 bw and u/s. U/S confirms 27 follicles on the right ovary, 30 on the left, which the doctor said was consistent with PCOS, but he would let my RE confirm that after looking into my bw. They said it could take 7-10 business days to get results from one of my tests, so I'm going to schedule an appointment for the beginning of the year to go over the results. Since both my RE and I are pretty sure it's PCOS, I've looked into changing my diet. I've lost a few pounds by dropping my carbs significantly.
QOTW: Medium fish? I like being recognized, but I dislike too much attention.
Hugs to all those in need!

I think it was 36 or 37mm....She said cyst and I started crying and didn't catch much after that. I'm hoping one cycle of BCP will clear it up, but I'm still in a good amount of pain, so I'm not very optimistic.

The first month I had a cyst birth control cleared it up really quick. I only had to do one month of bcp. I am currently benched again with a cyst but they shrink fast once the bcp kicks in fully! Good luck I hope it works!
