I'm trying to add images to my signature. I updated my avatar, it just hasn't updated on the site yet. I've added tickers using the new signature settings. When I try to add images now, all of the tools are greyed out (see image). How do I fix it?

@andyandrachel, You need to hit the "show source"/"show rich text" button again and it will come back.

Is that the button with the two red arrows on it? I've hit it a bunch of times, it lets me see the code and then the signature as images. The buttons don't seem to ungrey though.

@andyandrachel That's the one. Strange. When the code was showing and I clicked that button, all the edit buttons came right back.

Thanks @LilNunz1 I was on my ipad and I think it was just being glitchy. I'm on a desktop now and have access to all the buttons. Now I've just got to figure out how to do it.
EDITED: I think I figured it out now.

Yours looks like you put the code in the wrong area... copy the text that's there now. then when you go to your siggy settings, there is a button on the right side that is a red <> symbol, paste it in there and that should do the trick.

Yes, but you need to click two red <> and then enter that and then switch back and save it.

This thread inspired me to add an image finally. But now I can't get my siggy centered again? When I view it in my settings it's all centered and pretty.

I've tried selecting the whole thing and clicking right-hand then center again to try to reset it but it's still not working. Any ideas?

@erica314 Click on the red <> button and type <*center> With no * at the very beginning of your siggy code.

@megk82 Is there any way you could use photoshop or a simple tool like Microsoft paint to choose a smaller section of the picture? Save that and use it?

Ok, think I finally got a profile pic uploaded. Will work on the siggy. Thanks for the reminder. I always use the phone app and never had the option of uploading one on there.

@ADalesa29 you need a computer but you do have a profile pic and that's a huge help!! I almost exclusively mobile bump because I'm far too lazy to sit in front of the computer, so I recognize people by profile pics.

Agreed

There's a very high chance I won't "know" you, unless you have a siggy picture. Even if you (in general) post all day, every day. I rarely even look at screen names. I recognize people by their pictures, because there's literally hundreds of people here and my memory sucks.
