Until the last couple weeks I planned on working until I deliver, but it's getting harder. I have a commute out of state at an extended day school. I'm on my feet with teenagers for 9 hours. With all the doctor, chiropractor, PT appointments, a less than 12 hour work day is rare lately! I can barely do it now, so I'm bowing out after winter break. I'll only have a few days until my EDD at that point so here's to not going late! I don't want to deal with FMLA extensions, etc.
I am still working and plan to until I deliver; however, they can stop giving me new cases ANY DAY now.
I was just put on bedrest today until at least 36 weeks (11 days from now); I've been having serious cramps and I've begun to dilate so the Dr wants me off my feet ASAP. I'm hoping this will be the wake up call they need to stop giving me new cases. I don't mind sitting on my couch working off my current inventory - just nothing new please!

My original plan was to work until I went into labour, but I work in retail and things slow way down for us around the second week of January, so unless baby girl decides to make her own entrance before then, I will probably stop working mid-January.
One of my jobs is at a school and they break for the holidays next week so my last day is next Wednesday (YAY!). I'll continue at my other job until the week before my c-section... Here's hoping that the LO doesn't plan on arriving early!!
I guess I'm going to be a special snowflake. As a SAHM...yes nothing has changed, I'm still "working" and will work until the day this guy is born..and get right back to work once I get home...:)
But since obviously you are asking about working outside the home, I worked until the day my water broke with my oldest son. I was working from home 1-2 days a week.
I also do Passion Parties on the side, I have one more this weekend before I stop for the holidays and bc I'm feeling too large to continue.
So I am due Jan 26th, which is a Sunday. My Mat leave is scheduled to start Jan 27th as long as baby is on time or late. If he comes early, I'll be off starting the day he's born. Luckily my boss is letting me work from home for my final two weeks... With the holidays and some personal days I have to take, I have 15 days to go into the office left... Which I am way too excited about!
I'm due the 28th my last day is this Saturday the 14th. I'm done with the baby's room though so I'm not really sure what I'll do with myself for 2 weeks of no work
I'm working, but just barely. I'm a per diem nurse so I just pick up when I feel like it. I currently have shifts picked up until the 2nd week of January, but several of them are only 4 hour shifts.
Define working... If you call showing up every day and putting in a little bit of work in between surfing the net and being on the bump then yes I am totally working until I deliver. I have just mentally checked out weeks ago and hoping no one notices until I am on leave.
SAHM here (SS), so yes I'm still "working" sorta…except my butt is firmly planted on the sofa or in a chair for 80% of the day---maybe more…okay probably more.
Tomorrow is my last day of work. I am 33 weeks and my Dr. Is taking me out because of elevated bp. My EDD is Jan. 29th. However, I was told I most likely will be induced at 37 wks. Had a growth ultrasound yesterday. The baby is already weighing in at 5 lbs 7 Ozs.
I planned on working until dec 31st (due first week Jan) but doc put me out on modified bedrest the week of thanksgiving (34 weeks) I will be using my full 12 weeks of Fmla which puts me at 6 weeks past my due date. If I need more time off my job offers other types of coverage or I can use vaca time. But I hope the 6 weeks is all I need
I am still working and am actually pretty obsessive about it right now. End of year is always busy, and preparing to be out for 3 months has given me an insane list of things to do. Sadly enough, it's like working obsessively is my version of nesting - what I need to do in order to feel ready for LO.

My EDD was Jan 2 so I plan on taking off the few days after Christmas and taking it day by day after that.
