Yes, I started to at 18w2d. But this is my second. I didn't feel my first until 21wks with anterior placenta.

I can. Not often but I feel him a few times a day. I will be twenty weeks tomorrow and this is my second baby.

I had one with DD and I could feel her by 18 weeks or so.

@PanamaPineapple It can move as the uterus expands, but I don't know that you can count on it moving.

I could around 16w or so, very light flutters. H got a nice swift kick when he was touching my belly at 19w. I have an anterior placenta.

Edit to add, it was very inconsistent until 19w and now I feel him at least a few times a day but it's still really light most of the time.

I felt the first 'maybe that was baby' at 18w in the dot. I'm 19w2d and have had a handful if movements. This is my 2nd, I felt the first (no anterior placenta) at about 15w.

7&8th on the way- Once at 16w. Both twins are anterior. My 3rd baby also was anterior and I felt her at 16w and inconsistent until 18w. All posterior were consistent once felt. This time, once again, I'm waiting for more. My anterior placenta w #3 never moved and now w twins and the placenta are fused- very highly doubtful. Once u hit 20w, you will probably feel just the same. I did at least.

This time around i have an anterior placenta. to answer your question it can "move" a little as your uterus grows (it is attached but as you stretch it can end up closer to the top). Im going for a VBAC this time and as long as it is not growing into scar tissue it is not an issue at all! it just means its on one side instead of the other! (the dangerous one is placenta previa, which is when the placenta is at the bottom blocking the exit, baby is supposed to some out first, not placenta)

i have felt movement but it is much lighter this time than with DS (DS did not have an anterior placenta). i mostly feel it toward the sides while I'm resting at night

let me encourage you... you will get to a point where your babys movements rock your entire belly

which is both encouraging and annoying if you are trying to sleep

so just hang in there

I just started feeling them this weekend at 18w. Both of the babies placentas are anterior.

This is my second and both times I have had an anterior placenta. I felt DD at 17 wks and this baby way earlier. It was so early I was doubting it was the baby until the movements became more consistent. The difference for me is it seems to take a while to start to feel the movements on an regular hourly-type of basis.

Yes! I felt a few little wiggles early on (13-15 weeks) and now I'm 16 weeks and feeling LO at least a few times a day. It is still not as strong as it was at this point with my first pregnancy, but I'm happy to be feeling something now.

I'm 17 weeks and have an anterior placenta. I have felt some little nudges and flutters, but at this point, I'm chalking it all up to gas. I'm a FTM and the ultra sound tech assured me I wouldn't feel anything for quite some time. I'm kind of not even thinking about it.

I'm 23 weeks and feel her move but its not as hard or consistent as I felt with my first. I felt some flutters early on (about 15 weeks) but then nothing until about 19-20 weeks. I'm just waiting
For dh to be able to feel her!!

I started to feel what I thought might be baby around 18-19 weeks. It was confirmed during 20 week US that it indeed was baby. After that, a few kicks a day. Now I'm 22 weeks and really feel him quite often, always very down low in the pelvis. I also think I'm starting to feel hiccups :-) I'm good with the subtle gentle kicks, I already have major rib pain and don't need baby boy kicking the crap outta me too :-)

I'm FTM w/anterior placenta-will be 20wks tomorrow and I have started to feel baby girl a few times randomly through the day, it started just a couple of days ago! (However I think I have been feeling movement for a few weeks just didn't realize it!) It's exciting and makes me smile when I feel her!

She was moving quite a bit last night in a 3 min timespan and hubby said he felt her too!! I love it!

I'm not feeling any consistent movements and they're much lighter than with DS, but I started feeling them at 17 wks. This is my second pregnancy though and my abdominal muscles are already stretched out. I had a posterior placenta with DS and didn't feel a single thing until 21 weeks.

When my MW told me I had an anterior placenta I was kind of shocked. I've felt her since 16-17 weeks. Others have felt her since about 18wks. We got heart tones between 10-11wks. I'm glad to link it's anterior but relieved that she's so strong

22.5 weeks & feel very very faint where I am not sure if it is baby or me. And when I do feel something it lasts for a second. I think I feel something then immediately stop to concentrate on it & get nothing else. Definitely thought I would feel consistent movement by now & really wish DH could feel her too! I keep reading posts of how much everyone's babies are moving & kicking & I feel behind or am worried something is wrong with her legs!

20w4d. Having twins, both placentas are anterior. FTM and only started feeling them after 19 weeks. I feel them down low and on the left side. I feel them more when I lay on my back or on my left side.

I'm a FTM and when I went for my last appointment at 17 weeks, we could hear her kicking while listening to the Doppler, but I couldn't feel a thing. I felt one or two light movements at 18w1d, and minimal during the week following. The last week or two I usually feel her a couple of times a day, always lower down or to the sides. My husband has tried to feel her twice, and both times she quieted down when he tried (he wasn't pressing hard, and he says he must have a calming effect on her). At the anatomy scan last week, I was told it could be little while, even almost 30 weeks before it's more regular and palpable from the outside. I'm just grateful to feel any movement at all, because being a slightly larger first timer, I didn't think I'd feel anything for another few weeks.

I can. I have felt sporadic movement since about 16 weeks but I have just started feeling it mire regularly within the past week. I am also a STM though. With my first I did not have an anterior and didn't really feel much movement until close to 18 weeks.

Update- pg w twins both w anterior. Last night I FINALLY started feeling them often. I was 20w6d. So I'm 21w today. I'm so excited!!!! It's like they went from sleeping to party time in one day!!!

Yes. It took me until 18w 2days. Ftm here. Now I'm 23 weeks and I feel her all the time. Hubby feels her too. And last night we actually saw my tummy move!

Man! I am 21 weeks today with an anterior placenta and still haven't felt her yet. Waiting and waiting! One question for you ladies, my midwife described the first baby movements as a fluttering feeling. Was that your experience? I feel like baby is getting so much bigger and might jump straight to jabbing me.

Similar experiences here with it being in the front! Started feeling her, and knowing it was definitely her, on December 3rd! Was pretty active all last week but hasn't been this week! It will come and go I'm assuming! It feels like a tiny bubbler very low in my tummy ad then occasionally on both sides! No movement on the outside yet to where others can feel her! Can't wait for that day!

Edit to add:: I'll be 22weeks on Saturday! FTM!

I have one as well. I'm 23 weeks 2 days, and I finally felt kicks from the outside yesterday. It's inconsistent, but I'm just happy to feel her little wiggles!
