Still have to sort through the gifts and figure out where to store them for the time being. Then I need to figure out what we're doing for a dresser. The crib is going to be moved to the wall where all the stuff currently is. But I really like the colors I have going in there so far since we didn't paint.
And we finally got our crib! As soon as we got it home, DH couldn't wait to set it up.
This was the nursery at about 30 weeks with DS1. It's the best I can do. It looks totally different now. The bed is gone, the crib and dresser switched walls, the curtains are different, we got our bedding set a few weeks after this picture was taken, and the crib is currently a toddler bed. It's a small room, so the glider is in our bedroom. DS2 will not be sleeping in here right away--we only have a two bedroom house, so the boys will eventually share a room, but not until DS2 sleeps through the night.
I love these photos! If I could, I would post a photo of the U-Haul truck with all our boxes inside. We're moving out of Chicago today. I can't wait to start on the nursery at our new place!
Mama of boys, Landon (Jan 14) and Harrison (Aug 15).
I will have to post mine tonight, almost done with it and 5 weeks to go. It's so fun seeing everyone's baby nurseries, cute cute!!! We should post another one of these in 4 weeks, cause a lot of us will be closer!!!
This will be DD's corner of the room with her toddler bed, and the crib will go against the chevron wall where the toys are now. The dresser will be under the window and DD's toys will be in the corner where the dresser is now. It's freshly painted, so there's nothing on the walls yet, but I have some decor planned for DD's side of the room that's easily removable for when she goes downstairs in a while.
I'm so jealous of you ladies with completed, beautifully decorated nursery's! I don't have that much creativity. I'm glad I have these pics now, so once the room is actually done I can compare.
We were making awesome progress until we had to start basement renovations. I didn't want to renovate now, but let's just say there was an unfortunate incident with a toilet and after an emergency team gutted it, we figured we should just renovate. Now everything from the basement is all over the house!
I love seeing the nurseries in all different stages! It makes me feel better that mine isn't completely ready yet (at work so can't take a pic). I don't think mine will ever be AW worthy, but hopefully it will be ready by the time LO comes! Its getting there...
DH just sent me the picture of Maddox's closet. He said he tried to organize it. Cute. Haha And this is one of the last times I saw Maddox's nursery before I got hospitalized. Don't mind my fur baby and his frog legs. Lol
Here's the nursery/our bedroom so far! Ignore the paint.... We have decided to start from scratch on it when the color ended up a funky grey/green/blue-ish mess! We have it picked out, just waiting on the finances. Same goes for the dresser... Also ignore the random stuff in the crib, this is a product of the baby shower coming before the storage areas are ready! Lol. All in all though I can't complain about the progress.
Everyone's stuff is so cute!! Here's what we have so far. Still waiting to get the window seat cushions back and I need to put out a few more picture frames and such but were pretty much done HOORAY!!!
Still a lot of work to do here. I finally stopped working last week so now I'm gonna start sorting and fixing everything around. Also just exchanged/returned gifts from my baby shower..still haven't gotten the crib, drawers, changing table. Looking forward to getting those sometime this month. Not embarrassed by these pics at all, it's all a great work in progress. My sister also needs to finish painting decorations before I can wash baby's clothes.
Have lots complete, but still plenty to do! Not sure the buy buy baby bag hanging from window will last much longer waiting for glider to arrive which will replace bassinet in corner (that will be in our room once she arrives) and had those showers where everyone brought a book instead of a card. She's got her own little library. Love love love everyone's rooms... FTM due Jan. 4. Getting really eager!

@Elsutto2 - it is from IKEA, and we LOVE it. It's the smaller of the two Maskros lights - and it's really big.
It takes a 40watt bulb which I think is perfect in there, not too bright, not too dim.
@iamkerryanne - Thank you!
