So this first pic is the actual nursery - DH just finished laying he floors this past weekend, and he has to put in the baseboards next weekend... Then I can start actually moving stuff in! Because that one is kind of boring, I thought I'd show you the state of the guest room, which is actually housing most of the baby stuff for now:
@katiemarie86, I just love your color scheme. And the birch trees. I love them. They didn't fit what I wanted, so I got a different kind of tree. But the birch trees are so simple and beautiful.
I'll only post pictures when it's ready. Why would anyone want to see pics of a half done room?
For me, I think it is helpful and fun to see so far what people are planning. By the time a majority have their nurseries ready, I will be done too. I like getting ideas as I put mine together. Of course, I'll want to see all the completed rooms as well.
I was going to post pics of mine, but I'm not sure it really counts considering it's all set up and our daughter still sleeps in there and most likely will until about May when she turns 2 and this baby is ready for a crib. For now we'll just use the changing table, dresser, and glider in her room. Hopefully we'll be moving by the time we have to play musical rooms with the 3 kids.
I'm so jealous now. We don't have a nursery due to a small house. LO will be in our bedroom until we move and we aren't sure when that will be. Hopefully I'll get to do a nursery for baby #2.

@KristaBelieve -- ok, but why not just Google ideas? Look on Pinterest? There are other nurseries out there besides the ones on this BMB. Lots of them.
If others really want to see half done nurseries -- well, whatever floats your boat, I guess. It's not for me.

For fun... Silly
For those of us slacking, we have company... Those that are finished show off your amazing decor skills... Those still needing ideas, take a look at what others are doing...
Finally got the paint done. DH has to get chair rails and trim up. Carpet is being ordered soon. Once I have carpet, I can start putting things together!!
I'm just a fan of 'Work in Progress' progression pics in general. Like with Reno projects, I love seeing the before, during and after pics. I love seeing it all come together. It's great to be able to look back at the pictures of my home when we first bought it... It reminds me how much work we've accomplished!
The picture frames aren't staying on the walls, and that purple drawer thing will be replaced with a bookcase. I still have a lot of decorating to do, and a glider to purchase, but progress is being made!
@KristaBelieve, I can totally understand what you mean by looking at a friend's work in progress. But that's not what you said originally, so I was merely responding to what you actually said about getting ideas.
ETA: I actually agree with seeing the work in progress, somewhat. I just prefer to see them all at the same time. Like a before, halfway, after type thing. I have zero interest in looking at piles of clutter and trying to figure out what the heck is supposed to be happening.
I don't have any current pictures on my computer. It has drywall now though!! DH just has to finish the puttying, and then my brother is going to paint, and then FINALLY I can put in all of her stuff. I am so excited!!
I love seeing all of your nurseries. The ladies who are done - you are awesome, and they look great. But it is comforting to see that there are others who still have quite a bit of work to do at this point.
I'm super jealous of all of y'all's crazy decorating skills. I hate base housing we're not allowed to paint and we've been on kind of a tight budget so we kind of have this 'garage sale chic' thing going on. At least baby will be taken care of
@Elsutto2 where did you get those wall shelves? I've been looking for ones like those!
And...where did you get the pink straw basket?! Is that from Serena and Lily? I love it!
Shelves are from Ikea and the basket is from, you guess it, Serena and Lily. I saw it and seriously HAD to have it. I tried looking for months for a cheaper one at Home Goods and even thought about spray painting my own to look like it. But totally caved when they sent me a 20% off coupon haha!
