None for me. I didn't drink with DD and I won't this time either.
BFP#2 7/3/13. U/S at 6w4d showed 1 heartbeat at 127 bmp and 2 empty sacs. MMC discovered at 10w4d. D&C 8/27/13. Pathology showed normal boy. Missing our babies every day. BFP#3 10/29/13! Beta#1 at 4w5d - 2141, beta#2 at 5w1d - 7651! U/S 11/21/13 showed baby measuring 2 days ahead with a heartbeat of 127 bmp!
I drank throughout my last pregnancy and DS is totally fine, except for the food allergies and the extra toe.
JK about the toe. The kid is freakishly bright. It didn't harm him a bit.
I'm doing the same this time around. Everything in moderation, except moderation.
When you say you drank throughout your last pregnancy....how much? I've heard a glass of red wine a day, a glass a week, a glass a month. All different answers.
Before I took my pregnancy test, I had a beer with my boyfriend to calm my nerves a bit. Didn't work, but that beer was effin' great!!
I have to say in the couple weeks I have not been drinking, I realize I situational drink more than anything. I haven't had the craving YET but I have been in situations where having a drink seems like something to do...Saturday night movie date with Mom "Should I open a bottle.." or catching up with a girlfriend "Let's stop and get wine.." So I guess I'm a situational booze bag.
I drank a glass of wine probably less than once a month with DS... I may have a glass here and there with this pregnancy, but I'm not that worried about it.
The weekend before my BFP I was in my best friends wedding and I got pretty schnockered... Oops.

I bet it was! I had a short glass of wine with dinner several times a week throughout last time. Occasionally more than one regular glass when out with friends. And on probably a dozen occasions a mixed drink. I never got drunk or even felt tipsy. My doctor was aware and fine with it.
I got pretty drunk about two weeks before I got my BFP. Haven't touched it since I found out, but I'm ok with a sip of beer or champagne here or there. Unfortunately, DH is another pregnancy nazi and yelled at me for even suggesting I might partake in a small New Years glass of champagne. ::eye roll::
I've had a few glasses of wine. I think the body is more sensitive in the third trimester when you can develop fetal alcohol syndrome, but having a glass of wine or a beer here and there is no big deal.
You realize this is completely wrong.... Right? The part about third trimester being the most dangerous? You actually most likely to do the most damage in the first trimester and that is the greatest risk time for FAS.

@milestrellas, this is incorrect. Do what you will but you are at a far higher risk of your baby developing FAS in the first tri.
I'm driving by. I've had my share of drinks during my two pregnancies; I don't judge. But holy misinformation. First tri is the most crucial time for developing fetuses and the most risky time to be consuming alcohol. You're welcome!!!1!1!
Not me and don't plan on it. However, I'm really wondering how I'm going to get through the holidays without the family questioning why I'm not drinking. Anyone got any good excuses without spilling the beans?
As it is I'm not a big drinker although I certainly do enjoy alcohol here and there. Anyway, since I had a loss in June I was being super careful and not drinking until I was sure I wasn't preg., so I haven't had any since maybe late Aug.? I'll probably enjoy a glass here and there after 1st tri. I like to err on the side of caution while all the developing is going on. Also, DH doesn't drink at all so I have to be having a pretty good hankering for wine to open a bottle at home.
ETA: I agree that @milestrellas is quite misinformed about 3rd tri drinking having more of an effect than 1st tri drinking. What? 1st tri is when all the development is happening! That's when you should be the MOST cautious!
I had drinks the two days leading up to my BFP thinking I couldn't possibly be pregnant but low and behold I was. I haven't had anything since and haven't really had the desire but I'm more of a social drinker and haven't been in those settings since. I may have a glass of wine on occasion after the 1st tri is over.
I'm going to live vicariously through you all. I haven't had a real drink since my first bfp back in May 2012. In August, I had a few sips of my favorite moscato but decided I didn't feel like pumping and dumping so there went that!
@knittylady, I can relate to that b/c for one thing I think pregnancy and nursing kind of made me lose my taste for alcohol (not to mention a LOT of my tolerance), and for another thing DS nursed for so long (a little over 3 yrs) that I never really felt comfortable drinking a lot. Now that he's finally weaned I'm pregnant. Go figure. LOL
I had a glass of wine every so often once I was into second trimester with DS. I am not sure if I will this time or not. Haven't missed it yet so we'll see. Maybe if I attend a wedding or something.
