TTC After a Loss

~~~ TTCAL Newbie Checkin (week of Nov. 19) ~~~
**My apologies, but I'm unable to do individual updates this week - internet is down indefinitely at home and work is proving just too darn busy to sneak an hour or two in on TB.  Please update through replies and I'll do my best to comment on everyone's posts as I can!  >:D<
Welcome to TTC After Loss. I'm so sorry for your loss but am happy you have found us. ((hugs)) This board is full of brilliant and kind women who have experienced the hardship of losing that which is most precious, and I hope you find great comfort and support here in your journey to your rainbow baby!
For those of you so new you don't know the routine, this is a checkin for newer members of the TTCAL Board. My board name is gscoville, but you can just call me G or GS if you prefer something shorter. Please feel free to use this space to ask those "newbie" questions that feel intimidating to ask on the main board, I will try my best to get you an answer.
Please take the time to read the TTCAL blog to answer any questions you may have regarding our board etiquette, TTC, miscarriages & loss, and much more: https://www.ttcalblog.blogspot.com/ If you are a checkin regular and get a BFP, please PM me so that I can add it to the weekly checkin with a warning for other members.
Finally, if you haven't done so, please post your introduction on the main board including your story.
Weekly Update:  How are you doing?  Post an update including any news, thoughts, or questions - let me know how things are going for you!
Quote of the Week:
Question of the Week:  In honour of the Thanksgiving gluttony that is coming up for my American friends - if you could have an endless supply of any food, what would it be and why?
I could seriously live on mashed potatoes and gravy - given the opportunity I'd dive face first into a huge bowl of it just like they do in the movies!
  • Sorry the internet is down GS, I know how hard it is to go without internet. I know that I've been saying it for about 2 months but now I am maybe sorta sure that I am going to ovulate soon. I have the pain that I always get and I think if I squint the line on the opk is  a little darker. Hmm maybe I'm being hopeful. I think I will wait a little longer to call the dr for the 60 day check too. I just learned today that my little cousin just experienced a mc last month. I talked to her about it and I actually makes me feel better to know someone so close and also genetically linked. That may be a little morbid.
    I would love pie. I can always eat that.
  • Hello GS! I'm sorry you're having internet issues! I love the quote you chose this week. It's so true! Also, I placed the order for my OPKs and should be expecting them this week. I'll be able to use them this cycle and it will hopefully help pin point O a bit better. Thanks for your help with that.
    @ktlovess welcome back to the bump. Will you be joining us again? I'm sorry you've had such a rough go since your loss.
     I have a couple of stories I would like to share this week. Two in particular that made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
     First, I work as a retail manager so, of course, this time of year we get more complaints because people are rushed, angry and frustrated because it's busy in store and whatever else they have going on in their lives. I try and let certain situations roll off my back because I never know what is going on in their private lives that's causing them to be so angry at me or my associates. Without going into too much detail I had my first "irrate" customer of the holiday season. Needless to say she has caused us a couple days of hassle and just overall rudeness toward us. It really bothered me because I look at what she's argueing over and I can't believe that someone is making such a big deal over something that a)isn't our fault and b) so ridiculous. I was a little worked up about it but kept my cool because I don't like my employees to see me rattled over situations like that. This happened over the weekend. what made me feel warm and fuzzy was the same day I had a woman with a REAL problem that i was able to service her and make her happy. So happy that SHE HUGGED ME. She was so thankful for my service and told me how great I was. Then, a second customer said the same thing! I went out of my way to help her with a problem she had (again, not something we did on our end but something I was easily able to fix by taking a little extra time out of my day to help her). She was walking to the front of the store telling me how wonderful I was and that I provided such great customer service and thanked me for going out of my way to help. I just felt so great at the end of the day because no matter how rude and obnoxious the first lady was, I had 2 others that more than made up for it.
     My second story is TTCAL related. I finished my first cycle back at TTC and I got a BFN and this morning started CD1. I was bummed and it definitely stung. I guess I was just hopeful that it happened right away my first time trying that it would happen again after the loss. I am (as far as I know) the only one at my work that is trying to conceive at the moment. A couple people know (not about the loss but that we are trying) and one employee who does know paged me to call her. She told me she had found a pregnancy test on a shelf in my kitchen department. I work in a bed, bath, kitchen store so absolutely no where would anyone buy any personal items like that. I went over to see her and it was a first response unopened pregnancy test. How random that she found it on a shift I was working and thought of me? I don't know if anyone believes in signs or higher beings and maybe I'm looking too far into this but getting a BFN and waiting for AF to show, this made me keep hope that at some point DH and I will get our happy ending.
     It's my 28th birthday tomorrow. DH and I are going out for dinner tonight and then going to his parents place for dinner tomorrow night.I hope they make meatloaf  :D It's my favourite birthday meal.
     QOTW: If I had an endless supply of any food it would be my chicken and rice meal. It's not Thanksgiving related but hands down my all time favourite meal. I could (and do sometimes) eat it breakfast, lunch and dinner. haha
     I hope you all have a great week!  (((hugs))) all around
    ((hugs)) It's not morbid to feel like you're not alone in something so big and scary as loss, I'm glad you can be there for your cousin and you'll likely be able to help each other a great deal.  I hope those OPKs are indeed getting darker and O is imminent!
    Hello ladies! HUGS to all of you!!!
    @gscoville yuck for internet being down! Hope you're having a good week!
    @courtney1741 @abryars I LOVE home renos... We bought our house last oct and totally re did EVERYTHING!
    I've had a so so week... I'm a week out from d&c and completely pad free (yay)... Weird thing... I know. I had extremely minimal spotting and only 2 days of bleeding that was due to a clot that needed to be passed. Once that happened, bleeding and cramping has stopped and now we wait... I also found out his week that I have a bicornuate ute... This was a crazy ordeal as the nurse was under the assumption that I already knew, mentioned it nonchalantly, freaked me out sending me to dr. Google... Insert emotional mess here. After another call back and a demand for info to tie me over to my post op I was told it isn't a severe dipple, doesn't need surgery, wasn't the cause of my mc and should not affect any future pregnancies... Phew.
    ETA: stuffing.... I love stuffing... With gravy... I officially can't wait to get fat next week!
    I'm sorry for CD1 ((hugs)), that first one after loss can be so hurtful. I'm glad I was able to help you with those OPKs, and that you were able to get some positive experiences out of customers to counterbalance the bad one.  I have an aunt who is an absolute cow towards service workers, tellers, etc., she's always telling us about complaints she's made, bitchy tellers she dealt with, etc.  Nothing is ever good enough for her, and it drives me insane to think of the horrible days she leaves behind her for workers in her wake!  I know just how awesome it can be to get positive feedback, it really does make up for the cranks.
    Happy early birthday! :)
    Hi G! I hope your internet issues are fixed soon! How are things besides that?
    @mmnumber5 I hope you feel better soon!
    @bonnesetter I hope you get confirmation of o soon! I love pie too!
    @abryars glad you had some good customers to show you you're appreciated! Happy early birthday!! Sorry af came.
    @courtney1741 fx for O! Exciting about your kitchen!
    @jlworden710 sorry for all your stress this week! Glad it wasn't as bad as dr google made it out to be.
    @meagpt22 good luck waiting until Thursday and fx for a BFP!
    I am officially at the 10 week mark. It sucks. I ended up having a v us last week at a fertility clinic too. My bloodwork results seems to be spelling out PCOS I need to call back to the clinic when I am cd1 to get more bloodwork done. So they said to wait two more weeks and if I don't get af than I'll go on provera. The v us results showed that it didn't seem like I've ovulated. So I started doing opks and had a strong positive Sunday but no temp rise yet so I don't know, Ugh! So the wait continues but maybe a plan and more answers are in my future. I'm trying very hard to not get frustrated...
    Mine would be pizza. I could eat it everyday!
    Hugs to all who need them this week!
  • Hello lovely ladies!
    We're knee deep in our first TTC cycle post-loss.  Had a +OPK this morning, so H and I will be humping it out tonight and possibly tomorrow.  I don't want wear ourselves out, but it's so hard for me when I get a + not to start humping all the time!  More is more, right? ;)
    Anyway.  I was feeling a bit indifferent about TTC again, but getting that + really lifted my spirits.  We needed an IUI to get pregnant, but you never know, right?
    QOTW:  If calories were not an issue, I'd eat pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream.  Yuuuuum!
    Hey G! So sorry about the internet. That sucks. And thank you for running this check in, I look foward to it weekly. I just love all you ladies!
    I have not been temping as we are not clear until next cycle to TTC, but I can tell my body is gearing to "O" by my CM and ovulation pain. Right on track with my kindara chart and pre loss cycles. I'm cycle day 12 right now and almost always o on 14. My last HCG was 8 and she is still wanting me to come in to track it down to less than 5. I guess I'm thankful she is being so thorough but my poor veins! I work crazy shifts at the hospital and don't want the stress of temping. What is the general concensus of the board in regards to BD every other day? Any thoughts?
    QOTW: I really like guacamole. I could eat chips and guacamole all day. Washed down with diet dr. pepper and followed by cake batter ice cream from coldstone. Yup...all of that
    @jlworden710 I'm very, very happy
    that your uterus isn't going to cause you any problems and that you don't have to have surgery!
    @abryars I'm so sorry for the BFN and I hope you still enjoy your birthday!
    @courtney1741 I demand pictures! Have fun this weekend ;)
    @meagpt22 you can do it! GL for Thursday!
    @tvandewi I'm sorry for the 10 week mark. I'm so sorry for the extra stress. FX you get answers from the blood work after cd1. (((Hugs)))
    @bonnesetter27 I hope you are gearing up to "O!" my little cousin also had a miscarriage. As much as you don't want someone you love to experience it, it is nice to have someone IRL to talk to about everything.
    @mmnumber5 sorry for the evil cramps and migraines. What a crappy combo. Feel better soon!
    Edited for format!
  • Hi G, thanks for checkin! I never realize how dependent I am on technology until it goes haywire.
    No updates for me, CD10 and waiting for O. I think I am going to make this my last Newbie post, it's been almost 6 months since I joined the board. Thank you so much for all the support you all have given me.
    QOTW: that's a tough one, I couldn't survive without chocolate or bread.
    @mmnumber5 sorry about the cramps and migraines, they are the worst.
    @bonnesetter27 Fingers crossed you get the positive OPK soon!
    @abryars I spent many years in retail and don't miss those mean bitter customers at all, I do miss the great one though. Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great dinner with DH.
    @courtney1741 I bet you are glad the kitchen is almost done, you definitely need to post pics. Have fun HIWP!!
    @jlworden710 ((hugs)) sorry the nurse totally freaked you out today but I am glad to hear it's not a severe case.
    @meagpt22 GL with testing, I hope tomorrow flies by.
    @tvandewi ((hugs)) sorry to hear about the PCOS diagnosis, hopefully AF shows soon. To make breaks on an iPad put the following on the lines you want blank but without the spaces: < br > < br >
    @sunlavender Yeah +OPK!!
    @libby+Nate if you can BD every other day then that is a great option. You will have a bit of uncertainly though as you might not know exactly when you ovulate and should test
  • Hi all-
    Starting to heal and think I'm ready to move to the board...
    My song of the week is last hope by paramore and it's giving me hope that things are going to start turning around!!
    If I could live on one food: asparagus (I'm weird- I know)... Or gluten free pumpkin cupcakes from SwirlZ ;)
    My brief intro:
    I recently had my first pregnancy, first loss. I'm 28. MMC at 15 weeks on sept 19- tried to natural MC (I was sure that everything was out but at my ultrasound-- everything was still completely intact..) had a D&c on sept 27. Had my first cycle nov 5. Just waiting on confirmation that my levels are back to zero and a second cycle to start trying... Sigh
  • @libby+Nate I've heard that every other day BD is best. That's what I try and do. Of course, if we're in the mood we do it whenever ;). I could be wrong but I think doing everyday is alright as well as long as DH doesn't have any quality issues with his sperm. (Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong). I think if you have an idea of when you O and your cycles seem regular month to month then you don't need to temp. Especially if you're working shifts and it would become to stressful and difficult to keep up with. You could also use OPKs if you are ever not sure of O.
  • @Courtney1741 it's looking great!!! I can't wait to see the floors too. Cork floors sounds really cool! DH and I are thinking about backsplash, paint and new floors in our kitchen this winter as well. I like the colour you chose for the walls. It's so fresh and bright! It'll make cooking fun!
  • Good: my body is trying to ovulate. (I think)
    Bad: I've got a head cold and my husband is out of town all week so even if I do ovulate I think our chances this month are pretty slim
    I love to bake so my biggest weakness is chocolate chip cookies. Mmmmm delicious straight out of the oven.
    @Courtney1741 its amazing what some simple renovations can do to spruce up a kitchen. I spent last summer painting my cabinets and this summer we got new countertops and I put in the backsplash. I did the white subway tiles and grey grout and it makes the kitchen look so much better. Good luck!
    @tvandewi I am at 9 weeks now, So I can totally feel the frustration. ((hugs))
    @sunlavendar We bd every day that I have a +opk and 2 days after.
    @libby+nate As I said we bd every other day until we get a +opk.
  • Hey G!  I'm sorry that your internet is not cooperating for you.  I hope it's back up soon!  When do you start Clomid?
    Update on me:  I finally got a +OPK on Saturday.  FF gave me cross hairs for Sat, but changed them to Sun.  We had good timing so we shall see.
    QOTW - I LOVE sausage stuffing and could eat it everyday!!!  I'm not a big stuffing fan normally, but my mom's sausage stuffing is delish!!!
    @mmnumber5 - ((HUGS))
    @Bonnesetter27 - I hope that you O soon!
    @abryars - Wow, what a trying time for you!  I'm glad that some customers are very appreciative of your service.  ((HUGS)) for CD1!
    @Courtney1741 - I would guess that you ovulated CD18.  A couple more days of high temps and FF will give you cross hairs!  FX for you!
    @jlworden710 - I'm so sorry that the nurse created a panic attack for you!  I'm glad that the diagnosis isn't as bad as you first thought!
    @meagpt22 - FX for you!!!
    @tvandewi - ((HUGS))  I hope you get some answers soon!
    @sunlavender - Congrats on the +OPK and I know what you mean about wanting to go nuts HIO just to increase the chances.  Are you still seeing an RE?
    @libby+nate - I hope you O right on schedule.  From my experience here, BDing EOD seems like the most favorable.
    @kalynn12 - FX you O on time!  Will miss you on the check-in!
    @FitMamaInProgress - ((HUGS)) Sorry for your loss!
    @kate6214 - Sorry about your DH being out of town and your head cold!
  • So last night I was mobile bumping...(which drives my husband nuts... he said I need an intervention, first it was FB, then it was pinterest, then it was weddingwire during wedding time and now this) anywho... I was finally able to go through and read everyone's so here goes!
    thanks everyone for the virtual hugs and annoyance agreeance with the nurse! I am feeling better about all of it, but of course now trying to get all of my additional questions/demands organized so I am prepared for the 10th...
    @rmpar29 WAHOO to +OPK and good timing!!!! fingers crossed for you
    @kate6214 ugh the cold and hubby being out of town... hugs!
    @fitmamainprogress so sorry for your loss, so glad you are feeling better and back!
    @kalynn12 happy newbie graduation! GL!!!!
    @libby+nate we did both EOD and ED... I have heard that EOD is better for sperm's sake... but I am by no means an expert!... I would think if you are in tune with your body (which it seems like you are! jealous of that) that you could go either way.
    @sunlavender yay for a +OPK... happy humping days!
    @courtney1741 yay for a +OPK
    @meagpt22 Good Luck with testing!
    @tvandewi yuck to all the testing, so sorry you have to go through all that. Fingers and toes crossed for good results
    @abryars I hated working retail around the holidays... everyone was amped up on mountain dew or something! glad you had some good customers to offset crappy ones! Screw you CD1 and Happy Birthday... treat yourself!
    @bonnesetter27 my cousin had 2 consecutive M/C and I found it such a comfort to talk with her!
    @mmnumber5 I hate migraines... I used to get them really bad, to the point that I am prescribed a narcotic for it... I found that going to the chiropractor REALLY helped with them!
    I think that is everyone! I took notes... dont judge!  Hugs to anyone that needs them!
    I am going to start tempting/charting/using OPK again once AF comes in attempt to get in tune with my body.... if anyone has any advice on brands to use, etc feel free to share! I use FF, and had tempted ( but struggled with finding a pattern) I am not 100% sure when I ovulate so I thought that this time around I would try to use OPK... totally new to me... are they pretty fool proof or are there tricks to the trade?
  • Hey y'all, sorry I'm late to the party! @gscoville Ugh on the internet being down, that truly sucks!
    Well, it's been a crappy week, followed by a crazy weekend, to a slight scare yesterday. The crazy train is still fully parked at my station (sigh). I had to go the doc yesterday b/c I thought I had a hernia from my surgeries. I dont, thank God. However, I will be dealing with some sharp pains as my body heals (oh goody). He said it's possible I have some adhesions but there is no way to know for sure unless he operates again. He isnt going to do that unless absolutely necessary. BCP is still driving me crazy. I told doc about it and he said there isnt a lot we can do about it. He said if AF doesnt show that I get to POAS. Sigh* I really feel like I'm losing it. I just keep thinking, one more month on the BCP then I am done!
    QOTW: Honestly, I LOVE cranberry sauce. I would eat it til it made me sick if I could. It's completely sad.
    @kalynn12 I am sad to see you go but glad you feel ready to move on! =)
    @rmpar29 FX this is your cycle!!
    @kate6214 Hope you feel better soon!
    @fitmamainprogress Welcome! This is a wonderful place.
    @libby+nate Everything I have seen says that EOD is better for sperm count and quality.
    @sunlavender WOOT on +OPK. Enjoy your humping ;)
    @courtney1741 Yay for +OPK. Your kitchen looks FABULOUS!! I am so jealous!
    @meagpt22 GL!! ((Hugs))
    @tvandewi Hopefully you get some answers soon, hun. I am sorry you are having to go through all this testing. ((Hugs))
    @abryars I do not envy your job at all. I HATED retail. But....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
    @bonnesetter27 ((Hugs)) to you and your cousin. I am glad you have someone IRL to talk to.
    @mmnumber5 Ugh! ((Hugs)) I am so sorry for the migraines. My headaches have increased ten fold as well. I think it's the weather down here, tho. Im getting whiplash with how fast it keeps changing.
    @jlworden710 ((Hugs)) I am so sorry you had to deal with that idiot of a nurse. I am glad you got it all straightened out.
    I hope I didnt miss anyone. ((Hugs)) to those that need them. You ladies are awesome!!
  • Thanks for the update G! Is your internet back up yet? If not you can come over and eat some potatoes with me and use my computer :)
    I FINALLY ovulated at CD54! I really thought I was going to lose my mind. I got a OPK that was slightly darker than the test line last night and this morning it was much much darker. DH and I HIO two nights ago and last night. He said he's up for one more night tonight too...bless his heart :) What are your thoughts on that? Is three nights in a row too much as far as his suplly is concerned? My surge will probably last until tomorrow morning, should I wait it out tonight and then go again Thursday night? 4 night in row (that sounds crazy).
    Even if nothing comes from this cycle, but AF that will still be a win considering I thought my body had completely shutdown.
    GTKYQ: I could cheesy potatoes, or potatoes in almost any form forever. I love them :)
    @mmnumber5 - Hope you feel better soon!!
    @bonnestter27 - Sorry to hear about your cousin, but I understand feeling better knowing that you aren't alone, especially with family, in your loss
    @abryars - Happy Birthday!! Sorry you had such a rough day, but glad someone took the time to recognize your hard work! Sorry about your BFN, too :(
    @courtney1741 - Good luck and have fun with DH this week :)
    @jlworden710 - SO glad to hear that the bicornuate isn't anything to worry about!!
    @meagpt22 - Hold strong!! FX for a BFP for you :)
    @tvandewi - BIG hugs. I struggle with PCOS too, it seems so hard to have to deal with that on top of a loss. I hope that you get AF before you even have to see a doctor though.
    @sunlavender - Have fun with DH! FX for you!
    Libby+Nate - Personally, I BD everyday around O, but I rely on OPKs and then secondary signs as well. My surge is quite long (usually 36 hours) so we BD the night I get my first positive OPK and the next night as well. Good luck!!
    @kalynn12 - I'm thinking about heading out soon as well. I hope your stay on TTCAL is super short!
    @fitmamainprogress - Welcome to the check in!
    @kate6218 - I could eat chocolate chip cookies all day long too :)
    @rmpar29 - High five for positive OPKs!
    @megrae12 - Hugs to you. I'm sorry you've had such a rough go at things lately. I know it's so hard to be on the BCP, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully you won't be on it much longer.
  • @gs - I don’t like that work is getting in the way of you being able to bump – that’s not fair – you should speak to someone about that LOL
    My update for the week – hm….waiting waiting waiting.  DH is waiting on his 12/6 appt with his new PCP to get blood test to see if he is a Cystic Fibrosis carrier.  I am waiting on my 11/26 appt with a Maternal Fetal Specialist at my doc’s recommendation.  Oh we did find out the results of the testing from my MMC and it was Trisomy 9 – that is what prompted the appointment with the specialist.
    Question of the Week:  In honour of the Thanksgiving gluttony that is coming up for my American friends - if you could have an endless supply of any food, what would it be and why?  I guess it would be fried chicken – it’s been my favorite food since I can remember.
    @mmnumber5 – Friday is taking forever to come!  What time is your appointment?
    @bonnesetter27 I think that makes perfect sense.  I wish all the time that my mom was still alive so that I could discuss this with her.  She had multiple MC’s and I know that she would understand.  My sisters are great but they never dealt with this.
    @abryars Boo to CD1 and BFN!  I love that meatloaf is your favorite birthday meal.
    @courtney1741 and @sunlavender Enjoy the HIO!
    @jlworden710 I had missed the update on what the doctor’s office said – so happy that it’s not a big deal!  My DH thinks I have an issue with internet sites too!
    @meagpt22 Fx for testing tomorrow!
    @tvandewi I hope you get some answers soon.
    @libby+nate I haven’t been temping either – I never have before but this board has almost convinced me to start (even went and got the thermometer) but I’m afraid it will add more stress and I’m afraid that I won’t get the timing right because of my sleep patterns.  I don’t really wake up coherently enough to realize that I’m doing until about 6:30am but I’m in and out from the time DH’s alarm goes off at 5:30am.  Thanks for asking the question about EOD – I had the same.
    @fitmamainprogress What were your levels at when you had your first cycle?
    @kate6214 Boo to head colds!  I think I’m getting one – my throat is sore and my eyes were watery last night.  Hope you feel better soon.
    @rmpar29 Fx!
    @megrae12 – Thank goodness for no hernia!
    @stasi Yay for ovulating!  No advice for you on when to HIO – if you didn’t think you would last until tomorrow, I would say go for it because what could it hurt but if you think it will last until tomorrow, then maybe you should wait?
  • @jlworden710 My DH has also told me I need an intervention with social media sites (right now, the bump) He says I pay more attention to my phone (iIm usually mobile) then him haha. It's so not true ;) Also, I just ordered wondfo's on Amazon. It much more affordable then buying them in store. I also bought some Clear Blue digital ones in case I'm having trouble learning to use the wondfo's. I'll most likely update next couple weeks how they work (as AF is visiting me now...)
    @megrae12 I'm glad you don't have a hernia. I know someone going for that surgery soon. It's painful. I think the next month will go by very quickly (with it being so close to Christmas) and before you know it, you can stop the BCP. (((hugs)))
    @Stasi YAY for O'ing!!!! Better late than never;) I'm so glad your body is finally doing something and next cycle is much shorter for you :)
    @ktlovess see you next week!
    @peggels24 I hope your appts bring you answers and are able to help you move forward. I love meatloaf so much. It's an easy meal to make so it's not a hassle to anyone making it for me.
    Thank you all again for the birthday love
  • @abryars I will definitely be looking for an update... this (well once AF comes post D&C) will be my first time adding in the OPKs. I thought of starting with the clearblue kits then switching to the cheaper ones... I dont know the huge difference between them though
    With the Wondfo's you have to look at 2 lines. The line that appears after you pee should be as dark or darker then the control line. (I think that's the right word to describe it-can you tell I'm a newbie too? lol) So, I'm worried I won't be able to tell so i bought back up with Clear Blue which is smiley faces. You either get a :) or you don't. I looked up OPK's on the blog and there's an entire section on OPK's with pictures and everything. Once I saw the pictures of the Wondfo's then I started to think it may not be too hard to figure out. It'll be something new for sure and I'm hoping it helps pin point O for me. I am usually good at knowing with CM as well but last cycle I couldn't. FF suggested I have a second source to help with my charting. I only had temps to go by and since my CM wasn't helping at least I'll have OPK's.
    Hey G-ugh about internet! @abryars-I was the same way felt bc it happened first try pre loss that it'd happen that way again. I cried on CD 1. Now I'm telling myself we'll I was off BC for three months so this is month three post loss so it'll happen this time. Haha. Happy birthday! @jlworden710-sorry that's how you found out that stinks! Update: today my crazy level has gone up..I'm dpo 9 and trying to keep from testing til Thursday. Did well today so just have to get through tomorrow haha. Question: for thanksgiving food it's a loss up between mashed potatoes and biscuits.
    Sorry for another negative this morning contributing to your crazy level.  ((hugs))  For what it's worth, I'm not entirely sure you've actually ovulated yet based on your temps, FF hasn't given you a coverline, just a possible O date, but your 'post-O' temps aren't actually any higher than your 'pre-O' temps - they need to be noticeably higher to confirm ovulation.  I'm glad to see you're still testing with OPKs, as you might catch another surge.
    I am officially at the 10 week mark. It sucks. I ended up having a v us last week at a fertility clinic too. My bloodwork results seems to be spelling out PCOS I need to call back to the clinic when I am cd1 to get more bloodwork done. So they said to wait two more weeks and if I don't get af than I'll go on provera. The v us results showed that it didn't seem like I've ovulated. So I started doing opks and had a strong positive Sunday but no temp rise yet so I don't know, Ugh! So the wait continues but maybe a plan and more answers are in my future. I'm trying very hard to not get frustrated...
    Mine would be pizza. I could eat it everyday!
    Hugs to all who need them this week!
    Edit: edit for formatting! Thanks @kalynn12
    What a wait for you, how frustrating!  ((hugs))  I'm glad you're getting u/s and bloodwork done, hopefully things will get figured out soon with a plan for going forward.
  • Hello lovely ladies!
    We're knee deep in our first TTC cycle post-loss.  Had a +OPK this morning, so H and I will be humping it out tonight and possibly tomorrow.  I don't want wear ourselves out, but it's so hard for me when I get a + not to start humping all the time!  More is more, right? ;)
    Anyway.  I was feeling a bit indifferent about TTC again, but getting that + really lifted my spirits.  We needed an IUI to get pregnant, but you never know, right?
    QOTW:  If calories were not an issue, I'd eat pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream.  Yuuuuum!
    I experienced those same feelings when we got back to TTC again, I was dreading it but once push came to shove (literally ;) ) with my first +OPK it was like a switch turned on and I got excited once again.  I'm glad you're on your way!
