Also, this is not flame worthy, but a confession so I am putting it here. I know my DH thinks I am too into TB. The truth is IDGAF. It's a hell of a lot better than watching stupid loud ass videos on Facebook that your friends post and then talking about how dumb they were. Um, then why did you open it???
Sorry, maybe more of a vent than a confession.
TB has totally replaced FB in my life. it is more entertaining and I would rather look at pictures of cute babies all day instead of duck faces and shameless selfies.
100% agreed. I rarely check fb. DH will ask "Did you see so and so's post?" Um.... No? But I can tell you about what happened during FFFC today!
@RoosterMemphis Did you add to your siggy? I know I have seen the picture on the right (I love the look on her face), but is the one in the middle new? It's cute!
To be honest, I've been mobile for a while and I can't remember which pictures I put on there!! Lol. I did add to it last week.

@TurtleMomma pet store employees are the worst!!! I worked at a pet supply store for many years and spent more of my time telling people what things they shouldn't buy then what they should! My favourite customer question: "but why would they make it/sell it if it is so bad for x animal?" My favourite customer comment: "well I am just going to keep doing it this way because it hasn't killed x animal yet".
Mother of God, THIS! I mean, it is this very scenario that keeps the exotic pet veterinary business alive.
One of my biggest peeves was people trying to justify calcium sand (calci-sand) saying that it had calcium in it so it was good for them and digested easier. Uhm, no. All it did was light up real pretty on an x-ray when the animal stopped eating because they had a sand impaction.
My absolute favorite, though, was a family that bought a 2 toed sloth and brought it in to us because it wasn't eating. When I walked into the room they had a childrens encyclopedia book in their hands called "Sloths" and were telling me about how much research they did before they got her. Riiiiiiiight.
Holy shit. I love sloths. I would love to hug one and carry it around for a bit, but seriously? Not a pet for the average person.
My city "zoo" is actually an animal sanctuary. At the front of every single cage - tigers, bears, deer, snakes, lizards, eagles, mountain lions, coyote, tundra wolf --- every. single. cage. --- is the story of how the animal was being kept as a pet and was not properly cared for. I'm thankful they have a place to go... but I'm so sad they have to be there because of uninformed people.
Awww... sloth. (Edit: Because of a typo on wolf. Durrrh.)
I will complain daily about being a fatty fat, but I'm getting Chinese for dinner
Please see the cake for dinner comment above. I bitch every night in bed about being fat! I really should be better but...there's cake! Cake always wins!
I quit Facebook 4 years ago and never looked back.
Confession: I read the scary mommy confessional because it makes me feel great about my own life, andplusalao we are getting a little boring around here.
Double confession: I just posted this to help us get to 10 pages.
My husband gets the horrific things called cluster headaches. They are like a migraine on steroids but they typically go away faster. He started having them this week and they come on at night about an hour after he falls asleep (very much a biological clock driven thing)
My FFFC: I normally feel horrible for him as he lays there writhing in pain, but last night I had the thought that I was glad he was missing out on some of his sleep. I feel horrible for thinking it, as he really is the most helpful person ever and would get up to help if I asked.
I'm totes jealous of any woman that loses all of their baby weight within the first 2 months and they appear to never have given birth.
True story. I know someone like this. She had her baby in September and the girl looks amazing. While I'm sitting here working my ASS off. Ugh, damn genetics.
Confession, I lost all mine by 4 weeks and look how I did pre pregnancy a little less but wish I maintained more because I feel it's so awkward when people comment, I don't know how to respond or what they want me to say. I usually give them the "breastfeeding" answer or smile awkwardly...
I know probably no sympathy from anyone but I would rather be in the situation of someone asking when I was due after I already had LO and is at least have a legitimate response and know its absolutely normal not to lose all the baby weight fast
Yea no sympathy. Here you can have to extra weight I am miserable trying to lose. I think perhaps your comment is insensitive to oh, I don't know, all the other ladies who are trying to get the weight off.
I called my vagina a cooter in front of MH earlier. He called me disgusting. I then spent like 5 min going, "cooter cooter cooter cooooooochie cooter cooter cooter cooooooochie" because I have the sense of humor of a 7 year old.
Almost to 10 pgs. Wooooo!
Coooooooooter!! Lol I did my part.

Wasn't trying to be insensitive. I've always been uncomfortable with my body but pregnancy has changed a lot of the negative views I had but when people comment no matter what size I am it brings back certain thoughts or concerns that I was glad to be rid of. I don't think there's anything wrong with the post pregnancy body and honestly don't think it should be considered "fat" which is what a different poster referred to as. Sorry if others see it as insensitive. Unfortunately though when it comes to weight debates and issues there's always two sides and individual circumstances that people don't know about and cant take into account. Again sorry if it came off insensitive especially for those struggling...struggles go both ways though

I don't buy it. And you don't go posting this on a board where women just had their babies 3 months ago. Smh.

I say this as a chubby girl:
I have a friend who has been painfully thin her whole life despite the help of a dietician and when I am out with her tons of people comment on her weight. They call her "stick thin", "rail thin", anorexic, etc. to her face. No one says anything about my weight to my face, but because she is really thin people scream out their car windows for her to "Just eat a cheeseburger."

Meh, I get having a legit underweight issue. However, Asheesha's comment on wanting to be asked "when you are due" when you're not in fact pregnant is weird. More power to anyone who lost their baby weight quickly. Good for you, seriously. I took her comment more as an AW type of response.
I was at my PP weight within a week. I am definitely over weight, but it was the GD I was on from 24 weeks PG that did it. I had only gained 25 pounds or so. So there you go.
Post PG I have been eating whatever I want (with the excuse that I am EBF). I am still at my PP weight.
I am going to try to loose more weight (I had lost a fair bit before getting PG) but I am going to wait a while (until DS is 9 months or a year old or so).

When I was little we adopted a kitten, we had only had the kitten about a week and we were in the kitchen and we could hear it "meowing". We couldn't see it, so we looked everywhere. We pulled everything out of the cupboards and we were about to check the crawlspace under the kitchen when we opened the fridge... there she was!

I about puked in my mouth at the snake and lizard posts.

DS has never slept through the night. ever. once or twice he slept *maybe* 5 hours. I was getting a good 3 hours out of him.
Last night he was up every two hours on the dot.
I think we are hitting the "4 month sleep regression". Ugggh.
I don't mind getting up with him and feeding him, but 1.5 hours of sleep at a time is rough! It's like we are back at week 2.

I can't believe I read this whole thread. I must be sleep deprived. I should have just stopped... :-)

I would never have heard this song if it weren't for Saints Row V. However, thanks to my H playing this for HOURS and one of the missions restarting this song over and over and over, it was stuck in my head for weeks. He finally got bored and I finally forgot about this song. Until now. Fantastic.
