I made a pork tenderloin with apple slices, honey, and cinnamon. It smells amazing and I've been wanting to try it for weeks. Now...now I don't want it, and I think I might just eat the scalloped potatoes and green beans.
I just made some gf cheesy biscuits because I wanted something soft, but not sweet. They were really bland, but I guess that's a good thing? They're actually making me feel a little less sick, so success. As for actual nutrition, I have no clue. I may just have another biscuit with some ham or something since I haven't had a ham sandwich in forever.

DH is going to make bacon once C is in bed. The smell will either make me want to eat it or want to puke, I'm not sure yet. @EllyD14, gluten free cheesy biscuits? I need recipe!!!!
I cooked a pork loin in salsa last night. My plan is to wrap the pork and cheese in a tortillas and bake them. We have tomatoes, avocado, lettuce and sour cream to eat with them.
Breaded turkey breast, mashed potatoes, and a really really basic salad. The mashed potatoes were amazing, but I took one bite of the turkey breast and realized I had zero appetite for it. Forced it down anyway.

@lilygrace48 No recipe. I used gf bisquick and just added a couple handfuls of shredded cheese and herbs and a bit of garlic. I'd never used it to actually make biscuits, but I really wanted something and they were pretty good. I'll probably make them again. But they're REALLY bland, so the seasoning is definitely needed.

Awesome! I might make those for Saturday when my mum is coming for lunch. All the ladies in my family, and my older brother, are gluten free. Perhaps pulled pork and cheesy biscuits....hmmmmm!
@EllyD14 are you gf for medical reasons or just because? It seems like you're always eating gf stuff!
Medical. I have celiacs.

Me too. Have I pointed you to katz gluten free bakery online yet? They make amazing donuts.
You have. I have it bookmarked, but I haven't ordered anything yet. Is there anything that is best avoided?

@EllyD14, definitely order one of the free sample packs. I don't like their bread itself, and some of the cookies can be dry, but the pastries are all delicious!
How the hell do you ladies have the energy to cook like this? Let alone the smells not killing you?
H is crazy busy with school, so he can't help much with food, and I have to feed him and my daughter. No choice! But we might go out for pizza tomorrow. :-)
I went to a friend's house. She served leftovers. It was not particularly tasty, BUT, it was a meal I did not have to cook so I consider her a lifesaver. LOL! I brought the hot fudge pie...
I made a spicy laksa - chicken on the side for DH as I am now apparently off meat. I cooked it earlier this afternoon so that I would feel like eating it tonight. If i cook too soon before eating I'm like, nope.

I thought I was going to blow chunks the entire time I was handling the pork. Once I got it into the crockpot the cinnamon apple smell took over and it smelled amazing.
We had sour cream noodle bake. It sounds weird, but it takes kinda like an easy, deconstructed lasagna. It's a Pioneer Woman recipe, so you know it's good.
I made this this weekend! First thing I have cooked in a while and it was really good. Lots of leftovers too (I doubled it).

I have been lucky and haven't experienced too much nausea yet. The pork chops I made were also breaded for me at the grocery store so I didn't have to handle the raw meat at all.
Handling raw chicken breasts gives me the heebs big time lately, so I have been avoiding that.
I'm making fried rice! Awesome way to use up the veggies. I'll put cabbage, green beans, onion, garlic, pepper, carrots, peas, chicken, and eggs. I spice it up with curry and a bunch of red spices. I am excited, although it takes forever to make because of all the chopping. No matter how much I cook I never get faster at chopping and I obsess about making sure all items are chopped into tiny bits.
I am making "smothered burritos". I get 8 frozen burritos (lots of different kinds) from Walmart for $2.50. 1 can of enchilada sauce, pour half in the dish, plop down burritos, pour other half of sauce over the top and smother with cheese. Bake it then crank up the broiler for last 5 minutes. Easy and awesome!
I guess I'm going to try a baked cheddar chicken recipe from Pinterest. I gave my bf an option of the cheddar chicken and honey chicken...he (disappointingly) chose the cheddar chicken. I might just have pasta salad.
Cooked a whole chicken yesterday but the smell of it cooking and the touching it raw had me dry heaving all day....Sooo tonight we are having Chicken, biscuits and Gravy... plus I was feeling good so I made some cinnamon raisin bread since I've been craving it.

Had bought stuff for stir fry yesterday. Didn't want it. Made homemade mac and cheese with broccoli bits and heated a frozen creamed spinach. I'm just proud of myself that I got some legitimate veggie in there.
