@tiffletons518 NO NO NO! You and Max come stay with me until DD is better. Your husband can deal, right? It's gonna be 73 here so we can do some patio drinking.
@ihearttab That seriously sounds more amazing than you know. It's supposed to snow/rain here today and it's gross dreary. I was supposed to take Emma and Max back to the doctor today to follow up and make sure that the antibiotics did their job, but Kaylee starting puking right before we left. Better here than in my van. It's been a rough few weeks. When she started throwing up I called my H crying. Lol. We seriously need to catch a break so badly. I want to come where it's warm and let all the germs die and do some day drinking. Right meow.
I had several on Saturday, but I can only think of one now.
My hubby works for Best Buy. And they have join the list of Thanksgiving-ruiners. They are opening at 6pm on Thanksgiving. So hubby will miss all of dinner. We can't move it earlier cause my aunt does it and schedules it around family from out of town. Why do retailers have to start so early??? I think they need to make a law that says not before midnight. No point in calling it Black Friday anymore when all the stores open on Thursday. Ugh. Thanks Best Buy for ruining our holiday.
I totally understand. My husband is a store manager and the mall where the store is located has decided to open on Thanksgiving at 6 pm this year. Wth?! Can't people go ONE day without shopping?

I refuse to shop on Thanksgiving day! It should be a day off for retailers. The Christmas Creep really bothers me, no Christmas anything before Black Friday. At that point I am all about it, prior to that I am a grinch!
This! I just went out on my lunch break to get some Thanksgiving decorations. None! HomeGoods and Michaels literally had NONE
LO has been rolling over on her tummy at night and decides that she doesn't remember how to roll back over . After she rolls, it wakes her up and she gets frustrated and begins to whine. I then have to go in and turn her back over and then she's out until she does it again. We did this 4 times last night and it has been this way for about 2 weeks now. Mamas tired.
Ugh! We've got this going on too. Either she's so startled when she does it she panics too much to remember how to roll or the crib makes her stupid. I missed walking dead because of it *sobs*
Same here. LO learned how to roll a few weeks ago, but yesterday evening before bed, it's like a light bulb went off and all he wants to do now is roll over. So for the first time last night, he rolled himself onto his belly in his crib and couldn't remember how to roll back, which he is usually a pro at.
So frustrating for me because he STTN two nights ago for the first time in at least a month and for only the third time in his short life. Now we have to deal with roll over wake ups. It's always something.
So what happens? Do they just figure it out at some point? I only go in if she starts fussing. But it's getting old, fast!
I am suppose to pump every day at 1pm. I've done this for 3 months now since I started back to work. Today, my boos, who normally covers for me, left for lunch at 12:30 and said she would be gone about an hour and a half or more! Um hello? Don't you remember You work the desk everyday from 1 to 1:45?? I have no one else to cover for me today, everyone else is in a conference call for the next 3 hours doing training.
I'm really upset about missing this pumping.. I've been dealing with a decreasing supply and had to miss one yesterday (family emergency). This isn't helping. Grr.
Eleanor Carter-Lynn born 6.4.13, 17 days early, natural birth

Why can't books for babies be better written? I feel like Gru from Despicable Me when I read to DD...."this is literature?"
My Librarian DH always reads the author's name to DD after reading the title. Makes me laugh for some reason.
My DH says "written by Anna Dewdney and Illustrated by Sara Sidle." Then he explains what an author and illustrator are. DS1 is 3.5 and after you read the title he asks who is it "brought to you by."

That completely sucks
I don't know if it helps at all but a LC recently recommended to me that I actually try not pumping at exactly the same time every day and instead vary it by a little and it actually has helped my supply a little.

I'm guessing they figure it out or get used to sleeping on their belly. I imagine it gets easier once they are strong enough to crawl/almost crawl...clueless here, but hoping for the best.
I think making employees work on thanksgiving is horrible. I'm thankful for the blue laws that are still on the books in Mass so retailers cannot open on thanksgiving. Let people have time with their family!
This annoys me to no end. Like others, I will not be doing any shopping on Thanksgiving.
I hate our dogs laying on our couch and bed. This has been a huge war between DH and I since the beginning, but since I'm a SAHM now I'm the only one cleaning and I hate it.
It drives me insane to have to change the bed sheets every night before bed, vacuum the furniture several times a day. Why cant he just agree with me and not have the dogs on the furniture.
He thinks its perfectly fine and he says they might as well not live if they cant go on the furniture, he always just says he will get rid of them instead. I dont want to get rid of the dogs I just dont want them on the furniture.
*Rant over
Do the dogs go on the bed at night while you're in it or during the day. My cat sleeps our bed only during the day so I keep an extra sheet over the bed during the day and just pull it off at night. It helps cut down on the laundry due to cat hair.

I think I would sleep in the guest bedroom if DH was doing that to me! Sorry you're dealing with all that.
