T has a cold and a really bad cough so I decided to stay with him today instead of going to work. Hubby won't be back before 10 PM. So it's just us, trying to relieve him with extra snuggles, poor guy
My baby was up 4 times last night. Andplusalso, I think my pump motor is dying and I don't have the energy to call and be on the phone medela today to see if they will replace it. Boo!!
I'm over being a single mom of two. It was okay when I was in my twenties and full of life. I didn't sign up to be single with two. Chloe has enough going on and now throwing a 4 month old in the mix is hard and exhausting. So, hubs get your flucking act together and be an upstanding husband and father. K? Thanks.
@wasnotwas and carolynL8 are we living the same lives? I'm afraid I will never get him back to sleeping till 7.
And Grayson has been latching on clamping down, pulling back and turning his head side to side. It looks exactly like what a dog does with their play toy. I yell out no and unlatch him but he thinks its funny and smiles!

LO has been rolling over on her tummy at night and decides that she doesn't remember how to roll back over . After she rolls, it wakes her up and she gets frustrated and begins to whine. I then have to go in and turn her back over and then she's out until she does it again. We did this 4 times last night and it has been this way for about 2 weeks now. Mamas tired.
My MIL with a straight face told me I was feeding my LO too much? Are you freaking kidding me?! STFU woman. Just because he is 19 lbs does not mean he is over fed!!! Oh and they want us to move in with them because they don't see LO enough and are jealous because we live with my parents and they get to see him everyday. For real, the high school drama needs to stop now! Ugh, the holidays are going to be so much fun now...
My b*tchfest - DH telling me it must be her diaper and that I need to do something when she wouldn't go back to bed at midnight. Dude, I checked all the boxes, sometimes she fusses and you literally have NEVER gotten up with her in the middle of the night, so keep your f-ing mouth shut.
Coming out of lurkdom with this jewel. DS had a 104.3 temp Sunday at 5:30am so we went to the ER. My asshat of a BIL told MIL that "All babies have fevers" and his equally stupid wife piped in that "high fevers aren't that big of a deal anymore". Thanks for the enlightening information but I'll do as I please with our son, especially when he's that horribly sick. I'm still really pissed about it. Happy Monday!

@chicagochic you win that has to be hard on you. But I can't imagine trying to sleep with a helmet on, poor LO. We had talks of a helmet at our 4 month app. He said he expects it to be better at 6 months. I've been trying so hard to keep him off his head.
The kids always seems to know when we have to leave the house earlier and then want to sleep in while on mornings we can leave whenever are up super early.
my kids do the same thing too. then he is cranky all day because he was woke up.
@WasNotWas I'm hoping MIL blew it out of proportion as she has a flair for the dramatics but regardless, he's stupid enough to say such a thing so who knows. DH was right to drag me off to Vegas and marry me before I met that particular branch of special snowflakes.

I'm tired of doing everything possible to up my supply and it hasn't helped. I would like to put some in the freezer at the end of the day but I can't because I make just enough for him for the day. I wish I could get more then 3-4 ounces at a time.
I know I should be happy that I make that much but I'm jealous of those who get more!
I started a week late, again. I'm super bloated and miserable and cranky. I feel fat and unhappy, but I feel like the solution to that problem is eating large amounts of cake and cookies.

Ugh! We've got this going on too. Either she's so startled when she does it she panics too much to remember how to roll or the crib makes her stupid. I missed walking dead because of it *sobs*
On top of wakefulness, itchy neck yeast infection (which is being treated), and diaper rash, Alex started full on teething last night with two crazy screaming fits last night. It sounded like he was being tortuted. I had never heard him scream like that and it was so heartbreaking. DH cried and I just held him and let him comfort nurse from 10:00-1:00. Oh, and no matter how many times I clip his nailed, he is still managing to scratch up his head like crazy.
DD1 found her Christmas dress this morning and was carrying it around. I went to pick it up while holding LO and she puked all over the dress. I only had like 2 minutes before I was supposed to be out of the house to clean it up.
@FoxiLoxi First, lol. Second, I'm right there with ya. I gave in and swaddled to start the night then when he got up for the 3rd (5th?) time I said fuck it and left him free. Kid slept another 2.5 hours. WHY COULDN'T YOU DO THAT TO BEGIN WITH??!!
DH is sick with a respiratory virus so he has not only been helpless on the couch ALL weekend, but now he is taking a sick day from work so I'm a single parent taking care of two babies for the third day in a row. My house is a wreck, I've got a hundred errands to run, to make dinner, and to try to squeeze a workout, a meal, and a shower somewhere in the middle of all this nurturing. My husband goes through the kitchen/living room like a tazmanian devil. I can't pick up after him another day...
I really, really want a cupcake with double frosting and some ice cream.
I really hope DS2 outgrows these food allergies relatively soon because I'm really hungry for my normal food. On the plus side, 4 months of eating so healthy has given me the best cholesterol numbers I have ever seen.
I have been fighting a cough for over a week and today I think it is turning into a cold. DS1 was up 5 times last night for no reason. DS2 is teething so he is crying unless being held. Both boys are stuffy and have runny noses. And I hate play dough...It keeps DS1 entertained but it gets all over the table, the floor, and embedded in his clothes and the rug.
Damn, girls. You are making me feel better. The worst thing I have is that I'm taking LO to the doctor for the 6th time. She's been fighting something for a month. We finally decided to try amoxicillin since her ear was infected. She finished the antibiotics on Friday, and what do you know? Her boogers are back to green which means we go back to the doctor!!!
DD had shots on Friday and managed to catch a cold from daycare. Needless to say my weekend was hell. I am so lucky to have a kid who does not react well to shots...not. To top it off, she shared her cold with me so I feel like garbage.
I have one on behalf of DH who sliced part of his index finger off at work on a broken beer glass and had 7 stitches. He packed up our son and all his gear today to take him with him to a follow up with his regular doctor. After arriving and waiting, the doctor refused to see him saying he doesn't handle workers comp claims. The doc sent a nurse to turn him away. DH isn't filing for workers comp, he just wants to make sure his finger is not infected.
I'm sure there are some legal implications for the doctor but you'd think you would at least visit with your patient you'd had for 20+ years to explain why you can't see him. Plus packing up and toting the baby, argh. I wanted to bitch on his behalf.

Same here. LO learned how to roll a few weeks ago, but yesterday evening before bed, it's like a light bulb went off and all he wants to do now is roll over. So for the first time last night, he rolled himself onto his belly in his crib and couldn't remember how to roll back, which he is usually a pro at.
So frustrating for me because he STTN two nights ago for the first time in at least a month and for only the third time in his short life. Now we have to deal with roll over wake ups. It's always something.
Had to pick my oldest up from school early because she wasn't feeling well. She just started throwing up. Awesome. I'm now clorox wiping everything I can think of she's touched and trying to keep my younger daughter away from her, and washing the skin off my hands before I touch the baby. I pray it doesn't move through the house. I just can't.

I went to put a lid on my latte and the cup crumbled and spilled hot coffee all over me.
I'm STARVING, and I will be all day because I am trying to limit my portion sizes. These last 10lbs have got to GO.
