Someone said something about fries at our staff meeting and I couldn't stop thinking about them. So after picking up DD from preschool, I made a pit stop and went through the drive-thru to get a small order of fries from McDonald's for the drive home. I didn't tell DH about it...too embarrassed to admit. It seemed so compulsive. I couldn't stop thinking about those hot, salty fries! They were GOOD! So then, we had beef brisket sandwiches for dinner and DH said, "How about fries with dinner?" I didn't want to tell him what I did, but couldn't come up with another excuse (I'm a horrible liar), so I let him make some and ate a few with dinner.
Needless to say, I don't feel like fries anymore.
For the record, I'm pretty sure I had some salt on my face when I walked in the house. He either didn't notice or didn't tell me.
No point to this post other than to come out of hiding to *someone*!

Don't feel bad....I may or may not have housed 3 McD's hashbrowns for breakfast the other day. I'm not a fast food person at all, in fact the thought of it grosses me out (think pink slime - puke!), except for breakfast foods. I wanted nothing to do with anything other than hash browns, though, that day, and honestly they were glorious!

LOL...I came to the office the other day with a McD's bag in hand full of those hot salty fries. Mmmmm. A coworker stopped by, raised an eyebrow because it's 100% something you would never see in my office normally, and I all I could say was "shut up".
Enjoy your fries. Sometimes those cravings are relentless.
