If you didn't like WoW... We'd totally be through.
Lol! We might get real someday, but right now we just have a mini fake one that I stick on the end table.

  • Fake tree, real boobs.
We use to do real but one year it died before Christmas and we ended up taking it down on Christmas eve. Im sure my neighbours were thinking wtf! We now have 3 fake trees. One really nice pre lit one we bought on clearance after the dead tree Christmas and 2 cheaper smaller ones that we have in the tv room and basement. The one in he tree room Logan can play with as much as he wants and the basement one is Dh's tree with empty shotgun shells and tester liquor bottles as decorations.

  • Fake tree 4 LYFE.  I have many not-so-fond memories of going to get real trees with my dad as a kid, and he was the pickiest bastard ever and we'd spend hours with him examining each one so he'd get one that was perfect, and inevitably he'd get it home and be pissed because something was crooked or it had a hole he didn't see.  Yeah, no thanks.  I've got a $30 pre-lit Big Lots special that's been going strong for almost 10 years.

  • Fake tree, real boobs.  I love our pre-lit fake tree and I have no desire to have a real one.

  • Real trees all the way! I love going out and finding that perfect tree!
  • We always had fake growing up. But, DH likes to play lumberjack and go cut one down. So now we go every year, take hot apple cider, and pick up take out on the way home. Fun day. :) our first three years together our house had ridiculous tall ceilings.. So we had obnoxious ginormous trees!! It was soooo fun. I can't wait until we have our dream house and can do that again... Oh and real boobs.

  • Fake tree. H and DS are both allergic to real ones so H refuses. They both take meds every day but would both be miserable and it's not worth it. I would love to have a real tree but it's not happening.

  • We've had a fake pre-lit for a couple years. Before that we had real. I could see getting a real one in the future if the kids wanted to go pick it out. I don't really care either way.

We do the eco thing... So, fake. We put lights and a star on a real evergreen tree outside too though!
All the toxins it took to make the plastic probably isn't all that eco friendly.

I think there are mixed review on fake trees being more eco-friendly. Unless you've bought some super expensive eco friendly, organic, fair trade tree. They generally have a lot of toxins, the process to make them isn't environmentally friendly, etc. There was an article about this a few years ago, I'll see if I can find it.
Yes, definitely. But that's not the case if the tree is bought second-hand. ;)
How does that make it better? I'm confused?
  • In response to why we have a fake tree- I like that the tree fits in the same spot perfectly every year (well it will once we are settled in our home and buy one specifically for that room).  I don't like the needles or maintenance of a real tree.  One of my friend's trees burned their house down when we were kids so that freaks me out a bit too.
Real trees have their advantages too but I will never have one.

  • Tree: We will see.  We are having our first non white Christmas.  I think I will probably go fake pre-lit.  It needs to be tall, as our ceilings in our living room are two stories tall.
Boobs: have been reduced and lifted (13 years ago)
  • Real! We chop it down ourselves and everything.
  • Real + real.  And we go every year and cut it down.  I love doing it :)

^We cut the tree...not boobs...that would be interesting...
  • Gotta have real!

This is us as well, right down to the boobs.  :-)  Sometimes I miss going to the tree farm and getting a tree.
