So lately Caleb's sleepy times (both at night and during the day) are stretching out- it used to be 2, maybe 3 hours at a time, now it's 4 to 4.5. This is fabulous for me, of course, except that now his diapers are getting reeeeally full. Last night he soaked through his diaper, PJ's, and swaddle blanket, twice. I of course don't want to wake him up just to change him, because I don't want to mess with these lovely long stretches of sleep, but I'm worried about him being wet and poopy for so long! (He poops in every diaper, but it's usually not very much. We've never had a blowout or anything). I make sure getting a clean diaper on him is one of the very last things we do before bed.
He's a little over 10 lbs and in Pamper's size 1, and I really like them and think they fit perfectly. How can I solve this problem? I'm afraid going up a size would make us more prone to leaks/blowouts because they wouldn't be snug enough. We are planning on CDing but haven't started yet. Would putting cloth on at night help? I think I remember reading that you have to change CD inserts more often than disposables because Rey aren't as absorbent, so my guess is that's not the solution?
I appreciate any advice, thanks!
