More sleep = Very full diaper

So lately Caleb's sleepy times (both at night and during the day) are stretching out- it used to be 2, maybe 3 hours at a time, now it's 4 to 4.5. This is fabulous for me, of course, except that now his diapers are getting reeeeally full. Last night he soaked through his diaper, PJ's, and swaddle blanket, twice. I of course don't want to wake him up just to change him, because I don't want to mess with these lovely long stretches of sleep, but I'm worried about him being wet and poopy for so long! (He poops in every diaper, but it's usually not very much. We've never had a blowout or anything). I make sure getting a clean diaper on him is one of the very last things we do before bed.
He's a little over 10 lbs and in Pamper's size 1, and I really like them and think they fit perfectly. How can I solve this problem? I'm afraid going up a size would make us more prone to leaks/blowouts because they wouldn't be snug enough. We are planning on CDing but haven't started yet. Would putting cloth on at night help? I think I remember reading that you have to change CD inserts more often than disposables because Rey aren't as absorbent, so my guess is that's not the solution?

I appreciate any advice, thanks!

We've used those. The only way to tell thru are wet is BC they get heavier and bulkier. They don't feel wet unless I am changing him immediately after he pees. Cloth could be a great solution, but you'll need more than just a diaper and cover (doublers, wool, etc.; google solutions for heavy wetters).

I CD and LO has only once sprung a leak. I know this is terrible, but the other night we both miraculously slept through his nighttime feeding/changing (LO doesn't cry to be changed) and we went a full 9 hours between diapers! He is a super pee-er and I use hemp inserts at night which seem to be able to absorb much more.

I would move up a size. It can't hurt and if they are too big just save them for when he grows into them. My daughter is 10 lbs and moving to size 2 when this box runs out.

I use a 12 hour diaper at night. I coat the baby with Butt Paste and don't change during the night unless I smell poop. With my older child, I also went up a size at night when he started sleeping 12 hours.
