Just wondering what the average is amongst all of us! Trying to put things in perspective..I'm feeling a little self conscious about my gain but trying not to stress over it too much.
I don't weigh myself so I have no clue. But since my last appointment I have been eating terrible and my pants are now tight on my butt and legs. but trying not to worry about it.. After baby it is back to training for a fitness comp. and photo shoot. Determined to do so by around this time next year.
SS- no idea. I don't weigh myself during pregnancy. I have a tendency to go over board one way or another and I'm worried ill start stuffing my face if I haven't gained and start drastic unhealthy dieting practices if I have gained too much.
I usually can tell in my face if I've gained a lot. My face looks pretty normal but Im sure the bump plus the watermelon sized jugs I'm caring around these days will add a few pounds.

I'm at 6lbs... I went into my fat-clothing-bin and got out my next size up pants, so they fit at my bump, but are HUGENORMOUS on my legs and butt, I'm sure I look like a moron, lol.. but oh well, they are free as I already had them. Once they get tight I'll just get a band or use a hair tie. I'm really trying to only gain as much as I need, and not eat everything lying around, lol. We don't need to gain like 100lbs and have to take a year to get it off, can't do that again...
I had a doctors appointment this week and was up 1.5. I went into this pregnancy a bit chubby so I had a bit extra to start with. I haven't had morning sickness or crazy cravings (unless you count my desperate NEED for a fast food burger and fries last night that sadly went unfulfilled) so I've been eating pretty much the same as before.
14w4d I have officially gained a pound. Feeling relieved about this, with DS I gained 40 lbs when all was said and done. Really shooting to not repeat it!
I've gained a good bit! 11 lbs... ugh, but the only thing I keep reminding myself is that I quit smoking so a good 5+lbs came on immediately.. the other 5 or so came on naturally... atleast that is what I am telling myself to feel better.
The problem with polls like this is it doesn't take into account all the contributing factors (which is why it's easy to just say every woman and pregnancy is different). Women carrying multiples are going to gain differently, subsequent pregnancies usually gain differently, the woman's build to begin with will affect her gain, how far along you are (I think we range from 13ish to 17ish now), any other medical issues, etc etc. There's a wide range of "normal" weight gain for a reason.

You are absolutely right! I just wanted a rough idea of where the majority of us were at but there are many factors that cannot be calculated that will account for certain weight gains/losses.

I don't weigh myself during pregnancy either. I worry enough about everything else, I don't need to worry about weight gain. I estimate that I put on 40 lbs + with DS which I think is more than recommended, but I lost it all afterwards so if I had been weighing myself I would have been all down on myself about gaining so much when in the end it made no lick of difference.
I've gained about 10 and I'm 17 weeks. I was on a strict diet before so a lot of that is just back to my normal weight. I've only gained 2 this month so hopefully I'm slowing down.
agreed - i had salad for lunch after seeing that over 70% have gained less than 5 lbs lol
Yeah but like others have said everybody is different! I am a bigger girl so I don't need to gain as much. I also vomit like it is my job so for the first 10 weeks I lost weight. I think I have now gained the weight back that I lost while being so sick, but I am 13wks 1day and haven't gained 5lbs. Everybody is different and everybody needs to gain a different amount of weight.
